Esports Life: Ep.1 - Dreams of Glory

good day guys i am not writing a lot of reports for games but i ll write report for this one anyone knowing the game youtubers life would notice the similarities of the games basicly they took the same images , voices , and they present a new game with a lot of potencial i dont care about the micro -games that most have issues with cause at the time i write the review its already adressed i dont see any major bugs to confront which means its a semi ready game although all who know the story of this developer and youtubers life is that there were promising more content that never came to life 3 more channels that were never created in youtubers life and presented a game as ready since there was no more money to get from i wont say that this is the case here but i bought the game from the same developer cause i knew the game was semi ready again and if the sales arent going to be amazing on game they ll stop supporting it probably like they did in youtubers life i like the concept i like the idea and the game as it is still miss a lotttt of content and the history of the U play developing team is that they wont deliver what they promise to the fullest thats my only concern as said if it was any other company i would give 8/10 for effort and idea and the game so far in early acess cause of the history of uplay developing team i ll give it 5/10 and only hope we wont be let of without whats promised from company i would propose u to get it on sale not for full price but still if u played youtubers life is like the early stages of that game only hope this time they will deliver if they do i ll change my review and wont ask u to w8 to see the improvements they say they ll implement and the extra content heard exactly the same last time lets see if they deliver now for now 5/10 and with great worries about the future of the game

Oof. I played through the majority of the story content and I kid you not, when I saw I'd only played 45 minutes, I was awe-struck. It felt like I'd played for several hours. That's how mind-blowingly boring this game is. I'm sorry to the devs, but you guys do not even remotely understand esports. This game is all "omg esports!" and feels a story told by my dad trying to explain to me what esports are. Dad: "Kids go to those electronic sports bars and play their little video games." Me: Facepalm Dad: "I bet kids these days bully each other over esports now too. Back in my day we used to fist fight. I bet you kids solve your problem in videogames." Me: "Please no..." Dad: "You nerds sure love to game in your basements, don't you?" Me: "Y u do dis?!" Then there's the "esports game" you play. They have a god awful announcer talking over the game while you play this weird game about hiding and attacking people to get "winpoints" (That's what they are called, I kid you not.). It's unbelievably confusing for such a simple concept. It's also annoying that the moves you make in the game are cards that simulate features of different esports games AND the feelings of players. It's like the game doesn't quite understand what tone it's going for. Is it a game or are you simulating the skillsets of the players? The training sequences are somewhere between boring and miserable. Whack-a-mole or twitch chat pattern recognition. A hyper difficult version of Mastermind. This stupid picture matching game for education. Or, you can simulate it all and not do anything for 30-45 seconds at a time. Doing nothing is preferable to playing the mini-games. That's how boring the mini-games are. As an AVID esports fan, this game physically hurts my brain. It's yet another misappropriation of our culture on all fronts. The fact that actual esports teams joined in on this is disappointing as well. Avoid this game at all costs.

Don't waste your money on this trash game. Coming in from playing Youtuber's Life, U-Play Online's last game, I was expecting something relatively similar. That is not what this game is at all. The loading screens are soo long, the game is just doing the same exact thing over and over again, chores to get money, sleep, talk to people to get your stress level down, and then play Master of Champions, a horribly repitive mini-game that is basically all you do at the start of the game, and after playing for 2 hours I beat Russell for the 3rd freaking day in a row and my game committed suicide and didn't let me progress. And I KNOW this will be another piece of abandonware, just like Youtuber's Life. Don't buy this awful, awful game. Overall: 1/10 - Waste of my money and my time. TL:DR - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This is really a fun and addictive game!! You´ll be playing a teenager which gets interested in Esports and builds his way from being a complete novice to the top. The game is a simulation of a teenager life, including helping with the household work (and dealing with your mom if you don´t do it!) or flirting. You´ll have to find the right balance to have time for your new passion, Esports! The game is based on minigames. Some of them are easier, others require more time to master, which is a good balance to keep you addicted to it! There is also a good amount of story to guide you through the game, especially at the beginning, which is done through conversations with your friends - I found that many of the dialogues were quite funny! Another point I liked is the customisation options for your avatar, plenty of different styles to change their look as you like. The game has beautiful graphics as well with a cartoon feel. I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in Esports and in the simulation genre! 9/10

I feel cheated playing this game. Yes, it is fun for maybe an hour but there is a tedious grind that is so unbelievably boring and that comes from me who plays gathering jobs in MMOs and plays games that you paint walls! There hasn't been any update or news for roughly 4 months and bug reports, ranging from little things to actual game breaking bugs, though acknowledged are ignored in terms of any feedback and not fixed. A lot of assets have been ripped from their previous game Youtubers Life which was a fun game in a way itself for a small time. I had higher hopes for this and sadly did not deliver. It would seem to just be a quick money grab using old assets and a community they have access too. I do check regularly for any news, update or anything but sadly in the months' nothing new has been stated and this game is now gathering dust as the bugs are game breaking and the gameplay too boring to keep repeating.

A game with a nice premise but spoiled by its execution. The parts that could have been fun were either rushed or poorly developed. I won't be holding my breath for Episode 2, which probably will not come out.

I couldn't get myself to play it more. I believe every game has a story to tell but... I can't even actually get myself to play this one. It has potential but this is a no from me.
