wish we had more updates but pretty sure he abandoned this project its been awhile since anyupdates. Good game tho best moba simulator out for sure.
Teamfight Manager is better. Teamfight Manager 2 has also been announced. There are a lot of parallels to League: - Icons and roles are basically 1:1 lifted from League - Lots of the character designs and their associated kits are very similar to League. Gives big "you can copy my homework, just change the answers" vibes. There's so much unneeded text. There's also lots of janky text. They really should have hired a native English speaker to proofread instead of Google Translate or DeepL. If they did hire a native English speaker, they should have hired someone that finished elementary school. There are so many things that just read weirdly. Especially when reaching breakthrough points for your players. Telling them to play cards associated to them is absolutely nonsensical. Not only does it break the very limited amount of immersion, it wouldn't even make sense in-universe. I think there are also some balance issues within the game, especially once you get to the midgame. I'm not particularly good at these kinds of games, and this could 100% be a skill issue, but Niels is just ridiculous. I've had games where I probably should have lost and rolled a closeout fight, and games where I've been rolled because there are very limited counters to that character. I wouldn't mind seeing the UI get improved, the game balance a little more even, and maybe less randomness. I've lost quite a few fights in a 5v5 where core damage dealers got deleted because the entire enemy team decided to primarily attack my damage dealer and completely ignored everything else. Overall not bad, but I wouldn't recommend spending money on the full release if the demo is like this.
So, i played the Demo, first it was meh bur after one Hour it got me hooked (especially as a former LoL Player), but the interface needs improvement, i don`t want to click 5 times to advance to the next screen. Also pls make an Option to just summarize the Fights. Even on 8x Time it`s taking to long (IMO). And a lot of things are unexplained for example the saving of Strategic Points, i hought i have to spend all my Points on Cards, but you can save them to act sooner (very important bevor Dragon or Herald fights). And pls let us choose the appearance of the players (i don`t want a bald chick in a Nightgown in my Team). Also the game is really unoptimized with stuttering and delays (especially when it changes Music or screens). MY PC is an older Model but this game shouldn`t be too taxing on my Rig. I see great potential for this game.
Good game, play have fun
Great trial for the game. 9 hours of gameplay for me, decided to buy afterwards. Almost installed after my first match because it felt like it was too much autobattler and not enough impact. Gave it one more go, and each round got more hooked and felt the impact/evolution of the players and their heroes. The game within a game management is great. Was looking for a fantasy general manager, instead landed on fantasy sports manager. Not many complaints, the roster art could be less over the top anime, the fights could maybe have combat/ability cards for a 3rd layer of managing your team during fights in the match (but the game is solid and unique, I am ready to play more and excited where this genre/title series could go next). BTW, my progress was not currently transferable to the base game (I guess it was in the past, hopefully they update the demo to the same version). No worries though, because I was ready to restart and go up 1 difficulty.
