- Slightly hard puzzles. - Played with 3 Friends. - Very good game.
TLDR: A good way to spend an evening, frustrated, with a friend. General Thoughts/Overview: Escape Memoirs: Questionable Side Stories (EMQS) is a storied escape room best played with a friend. We are unnamed criminals out to join some kind of organisation, probably of the criminal sort, and as such we’re tasked with breaking into the very organisation as our first test. And so begins our evening of rubbing things, pushing things, shouting at each other, attempting to solve puzzles obvious in hindsight, and generally frolicking our ways through the adventure. The game is essentially a first person point and click. Pick up and hold items, examining them and the surroundings for clues to open locks to progress. Also look for solid gold rats... Because why not? Pros:

FREEEEE! Considering this is free its pretty decent, it makes a good companion to the other game they released. We actually found it more difficult and longer than the paid game.
Good puzzle variety and challenge means that you don’t find yourself frustrated with any single thing for long. No. They spread the frustration around, this allows you to be frustrated in new and interesting ways frequently.
Some decent atmosphere and use of the environment to create gameplay. I liked the way clues could be embedded in the very room itself.
Cons:

Some of the puzzles do not make a lick of sense until after you’ve solved them, or used the stuff you’ve found laying about to guess them.
The damn rats are a ball ache to find, with some only having tiny pick up spots and hints of nose or tail shining though. Would recommend anyone reading waits until they have the torch to go looking, as it makes it significantly easier to see them.
The pick up and put down mechanic can be clunky, and unintuitive. Do we not have pockets? Can we not just share an inventory?
Suggested improvements:

Disability mode for colour blind or hard of hearing. – This game is NOT friendly to either.
Group inventory for all the crap we pick up.
Overall Recommendation: Any game that can stump two people for 45 minutes with a SPOILER!
unlocked door
deserves a thumbs up. But seriously, this is free and it’s good to play with a friend or two for an evening. The more brains you have the faster it’ll go, so why not? There’s no real reason to not give it a go, unless puzzle games are not your jam. My curator page with reviews by genre. The puzzles are slightly better than in the previous games, but still not very good. They often feel overcomplicated, unintuitive, and poorly thought out.
Excellent puzzle game for free. With achievements too. You don't see that everyday.
great
I absolutely loved it! Finding the rat statue collectibles were a little difficult but nothing a flashlight can't fix! Thank you 0 Deer Soft for the small and free game!
Gioco davvero molto bello e curato in ogni dettaglio. Bisogna imparare a guardare fuori dagli schemi e diventare abili a fare associazioni. Finito in 3 ore di gameplay con un amico, quindi in due. Molto consigliato, sarei curioso di vedere futuri scenari.
