Escape from the Room of the Serving Doll is a single-player escape-room puzzle game developed by 桃山プロダクション and published by Playmeow and Playmeow News. At its core, it follows the classic locked-room formula: you awaken in an enclosed space and must investigate your surroundings, gather items, decipher clues, and ultimately find a way out. What distinguishes it from more traditional entries in the genre is the presence of a highly stylized android companion known as the “Serving Doll,” who becomes both a narrative focal point and a key mechanic tied to progression. The structure of the game is straightforward yet effective. Players explore a single room environment filled with cabinets, drawers, locked containers, coded devices, and hidden compartments. Like most escape titles, success depends on careful observation. Small environmental details often hint at combinations or the purpose of certain objects. Inventory management plays an important role, as collected items can be examined, combined, or shown to the Serving Doll to trigger new events. The puzzles themselves lean toward logic-based solutions rather than obscure riddles, making the experience approachable for genre newcomers while still providing enough challenge to remain engaging. The presence of the Serving Doll, named Aisha in the game, adds an unusual dynamic. She is not merely a passive background character but an interactive element woven into the gameplay loop. Players can present discovered items to her, engage in dialogue, and gradually influence her disposition. Certain puzzle milestones unlock new conversations or scenes, and her reactions can subtly guide players toward overlooked clues. This integration of character interaction into puzzle progression gives the game a narrative layer that many traditional escape-room titles lack. Visually, the game uses a modest 3D environment for the room itself, keeping the setting compact and focused. Furniture, props, and interactable elements are designed for clarity rather than realism, ensuring that players can easily identify clickable objects. In contrast, the Serving Doll’s character model receives more detailed attention, emphasizing expressive animation and stylized design. This contrast reinforces the dual nature of the experience: part cerebral puzzle challenge, part character-driven fantasy. Thematically, the game clearly targets a mature audience. The Serving Doll’s design and certain unlockable scenes introduce adult elements that form a significant part of its identity. These elements are integrated into the narrative rather than existing as isolated bonuses. Relationship progression with Aisha can influence which ending players achieve, and different outcomes reward varying levels of interaction. Players who focus solely on escaping the room may unlock a more basic resolution, while those who deepen engagement with the character may access alternate conclusions. Despite its explicit themes, the core gameplay remains rooted in traditional escape mechanics. Solving puzzles requires logical deduction and attentive exploration. Codes must be interpreted correctly, sequences must be activated in the proper order, and hidden compartments must be discovered through environmental reasoning. The experience is relatively concise, typically lasting a couple of hours depending on familiarity with the genre. Its compact length works in its favor, preventing fatigue while delivering a complete narrative arc. Replay value comes primarily from branching endings and optional interactions. Players may revisit the game to experiment with different approaches to Aisha or to uncover missed scenes and hidden routes. While the room layout itself does not drastically change, the character-driven elements provide additional motivation to explore alternate paths. Overall, Escape from the Room of the Serving Doll blends classic escape-room puzzle design with character interaction and adult narrative themes. It offers a focused and cohesive experience that appeals to fans of logic-based challenges who are also comfortable with mature content. Though modest in scope, the game succeeds in merging environmental problem-solving with relationship-driven storytelling, creating a distinctive twist on the familiar locked-room formula. 算是个密室解密的小作品吧,谜题都不是很难,除了那个黄色三角形找了半天,其他的部分提示已经很充分了。瑟瑟部分还算可以,就是奶子实在是太大了。。。

Very fun short game. Escape room puzzles are fun, only tiny immersion issue is the transition from dialog to extra scene, but it the majority of the puzzles were fun to solve without being too tough. Also having zero steam achievements is a down
