Escape From The Dragons is a small survival retro-like game where you make points by killing enemies while you avoid dragons trying to blast your ass. Your score is then saved into a steam leaderboard. The game is very enjoyable, but it is made to be challenging, this can throw off more casual players. You will die a lot, until you get used to the patterns of the dragon attacks. Once you live longer, the game will throw you new obstacles like larger orc creatures that can also kill you with one hit and even fireballs falling from the sky. Basically, the game punishes you the longer you survive, but it is fun to play and start overcoming the challenges feels rewarding since you are ranking up the leaderboard as you get good and unlock achievements. Some achievements are even unlocked by dying so its a win-win. However, make no mistake, this is a 1 dollar game, 60cents right now. It is a small game so don't expect a lot of content, just a fun experience that will last you from 30 minutes to 1 hour if you like challenges. Maybe more if you aim to overcome the leaderboard. For the price it is excellent and if the devs add more content like another gameplay area or dragon types, maybe even being able to attack the dragons, will make this a very very good game (in the range of 1 dollar lol). We get what we paid pay but I feel this has potential to be exploited, The game build at launch is pretty solid. I only found one bug where the jumping animation got stuck looping, happened only once and it didn't get me killed. The graphics and music are good. Bottom line, get it if you like price friendly challenge.
Needs some graphical fixes on 4:3 aspect ratio but who cares about it lol. Once you switch to a widescreen ratio, everything looks good. The game is hard but fun.
Alright, this is a simple yet challenging game. You will die, and will die A LOT. Still, it is enjoyable and you get a feeling of accomplishment the more you survive. Also, I truly appreciate the fact that it runs on Linux. I really like this game.
Escape From The Dragons is a 2D retro single screen brawler/platformer slapped together (badly) with Unity. Gameplay consists of falling from the sky then avoiding hazards and killing the enemies and seeing how long you can survive before the mediocrity gets to you and you stop the game and write a negative review for it. The quality here is completely terrible. Apart from being a poor, shallow game concept, the artwork is poor and mismatched. It looks like they ripped off the footsoldier unit from Warcraft, so hopefully Blizzard will sue. The developer decided to map my HOTAS as if it was a console peasant childrens toy controller, so if you own a gaming PC with peripherals, the game will be unplayable as you run constantly to the left. Basic testing on a gaming PC would have picked this up, but the developer didn't bother. Controls are locked so there's no way to fix this mistake. Resolution is also locked, cementing this shovelware as far, far below standards for PC.
terrible game, please DO NOT BUY. - No controller support - Not complete key bindings - Terrible resolution - WITH NO OPTIONS TO UPDATE - 1 hit kill CPU or player - Dragons are outside the screen so you won't see anything - You Can't jump through the platforms - Due the wanky physics you'll sent flying for no apparent reason Finally, don't get fooled by the store video, the video is smoother and more polished than the actual game. Terrible game that should've been free
Very good for less than a dolar. Recommended if you like challenges. Runs well on ubuntu.
Muito competitivo
Every 10 seconds or so you have a 50/50 shot at being burned to a crisp or yeeted to an alternate dimension. Even with a 0 ms reaction time you're done for.
