About
Explore a dream that refuses to end. As Zede Aksis, wander a surreal city that feels both alive and liminal, filled with digital citizens and absurd infrastructure. Can you find an escape? A way out of a world that remembers you better than you remember it?
Step into a city shaped by memory and code-- where the streetlights hum lullabies, and stairways spiral into forgotten neighborhoods. Escape from Lavender Island is an open-world exploration of the subconscious, a place where the unknown constantly unfolds before you. Every corner feels familiar, but nothing looks like you remember.
It’s a game about being lost in the in-between: the space between dreams and waking, between knowing who you are and who you might’ve been. As Zede, you collect fragments of language, art, and architecture that hint at a life outside the simulation-- but the deeper you go, the more the island reshapes to fit you.
The world itself is the story. The Lavender Corporation, an evil group from the mainland, works with an alien civilization to control the island and everyone who lives on it. To fight back, you'll accept missions, meet contacts, and find masks with different abilities.

I escaped from Lavender island.
I don't understand all the praise Escape from Lavender Island gets. Sure, the world is surreal. The game is visually stunning or pure nightmare fuel, depending on your perspective. There's no denying it's a unique looking game. However, once the initial shock and awe wear off after the first hour or two, you're left with a fairly mediocre experience that feels half-baked. The game constantly introduces new mechanics, mini-games, and mission types throughout the story, but none of them feel polished or fully realized. Instead of expanding on ideas, it keeps moving on to the next one before any of them become genuinely fun or engaging. Expanding on that, Very little in the game actually feels good to use. Whether you're controlling your ship or simply traversing the world to collect items, the gameplay often feels clunky and unsatisfying. The game's biggest strength is its cast of bizarre characters and the absurd situations they put you in, and those moments are genuinely entertaining. Unfortunately, they're not enough to carry an otherwise underwhelming experience. P.S. I played most of the game in offline mode, so my hours do not reflect actual gametime. Achievements do not register while offline, which is always super frustrating. Even when reconnecting to the internet.
Hi, I'm Scott Morrison, former Prime Minister of Australia. I just came here to interupt my gameplay of the exceptional video game Escape From Lavender Island. It is an absolute failure of the intergrity of the global nation that this game is not being lauded and appreciated enough for the exeptional achievment for the video game industry that it is. We are coming for you and we know who you are pleasekeepsecret.com
This might be the best game of all time. The plot is impeccable, and the graphics are top notch.
I don't know what these games are but I am probably going to buy everything they make from now on.
An absolute blast. Such a wonderful game with such a unique style. I Highly recommend.
One surprise after another. It sometimes loses focus, intoducing one or two too many random thematic detours (which are still amazing on their own), but the experience as a whole stands strong. Beautifully bizzare idiosyncratic artstyle is a cherry on top.
