Well, I really love everything about the game, minus one problem. That problem is a glitch? Or missing hitbox? idk. In the 3rd area you get to, after you beat the first boss, you come across a tunnel with giant white ball ghost enemies. After that tunnel I just free fall. No end in sight. Tried shooting in every direction, spamming left, spamming right, everything I could think of, and just kept free falling. This review is mainly to hopefully get the developers attention. I really would love to see the rest of the game. What I have seen before the glitch spot is so good. Really fun, really good level design, can be challenging. Devs if you see this and need more clarification about the area im talking about please do message me or comment.
first things first, my sugar daddy bought me this game so I have zero "sunk cost fallacy affecting my review. The game is exactly what it says, you play as a (developmentally disabled???) soldier of hell, you'll know he's from hell by the fact that he says he is, and because he looks like he's made of period blood (hellish). Also from his scintillating dialogue such as, "♥♥♥♥" and "♥♥♥♥" which have only ever shown up when there's not a single enemy on screen. as far as story goes that's as much as there is. Game play is actually pretty impressive from the multi directional dash, infinite ammo, double jump and wall climb. you'll actually have a lot of fun for the first minute. then the level design ♥♥♥♥♥ itself and the fun is neutered by everything being a tunnel tighter than a virgin ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Level two has a boss with an indestructible body that gets stuck in pathways occasionally leaving the level incompletable because he doesn't de-spawn after death. As of now i'm pretty sure there's only three levels. the lack of certainty is because i reach what I assume is the end of level three and fall out of the level and have to restart the whole level. I tried several times and idk, but that last part is on me. you'll face fellow demons such as, angry windsocks, angry pebbles(?), translucent white orbs that i can only assume are the sperm you waste from masturbation (you should be ashamed.). Objectively it's an unfinished game that has some really fun movement mechanics that could make for a pretty good game if it didn't actively chop off it's own legs with a hacksaw. don't expect much for now though, as of now; you get less than you pay for.
