Игра 'Epimutation' - это увлекательное погружение в мир генетических экспериментов и мутаций. Сюжет, хоть и подан довольно минималистично, держит в напряжении своей недосказанностью и атмосферой научной антиутопии. Геймплей строится на roguelike-механиках: каждый забег уникален благодаря случайной генерации уровней и набору доступных мутаций. Экспериментирование с различными комбинациями способностей - ключ к выживанию, ведь враги становятся сильнее с каждой попыткой. Графически игра выполнена в пиксельном стиле, но это лишь добавляет ей шарма и подчеркивает угнетающую обстановку. Главный плюс - реиграбельность. Хочется пробовать новые билды, открывать новые мутации и продвигаться дальше вглубь лаборатории. Однако, порой игра может показаться несбалансированной: некоторые мутации явно сильнее других, а удачный старт значительно облегчает прохождение. В целом, "Epimutation" - достойный представитель жанра roguelike, который способен затянуть на многие часы, если вам нравится идея генетических экспериментов и постоянной адаптации к меняющимся условиям.

Short visual novel, pretty linear and with little possibilities to interact. Recommending as it's free and still gives you a couple chills.

Les personnages sont très beau et détailler ils ont tous une histoire qui fait qu'on peux être tous attaché Super Histoire J'ai adorée ce jeu que sa soit pour leur histoire, l'histoire du bunker et de l'environnement. de pourquoi ils sont dans cette situation. Très bon jeu.

Super compelling characters and excellent soundtrack! It's highly reminiscent of Pestraobia fanart, and I mean that in the best way. A thoroughly gripping game.

I got very invested with the characters and world even if i kinda wished it was a lil longer, even so what's here is very well done and i hope Barbie who is now known as Starlight Detective makes more projects like this one!

There are some shortcomings, but overall it's a great start to the series, the monster & how they infect others is a breath of fresh air. Hope the story continues.

Gioco molto bello, mi sono immerso nella storia così facilmente dal sembrare naturale, direi che a livello di gameplay non ho riscontrato problemi. Devo dire che però ho avuto i miei problemi, come ad esempio capire chi era infetto, (spoiler per chi non ha giocato) si avevo trovato il testo che parlava della stanchezza ma non pensavo che era quello il sintomo, credevo di non aver trovato l'indizio necessario ed ho passato mezz'ora a cercare di capire chi era l'infetto; visto che non sono madrelingua inglese ho avuto anche delle difficoltà come ad esempio ad un certo punto quando hanno usato i pronomi "them" e "they" verso la fine, e confuso ho detto "di chi stanno parlando?" e poi mi sono ricordato che nel diario c'era scritta una didascalia sul protagonista il quale lo accennava, mi sono divertito/inquietato con questo gioco, davvero bello. So che è gratuito e quindi dura anche poco, ma mi sarebbe piaciuto tanto che estendessero la storia oppure raccontare delle prime settimane nel bunker, all'inizio di tutto; se mai uscirà un seguito o un prequel, anche se a pagamento lo comprerò!

A fun, quick little horror game. The game feels like it rushes through a lot of plot points you would tend to see in these kinds of games, but this feels more like a test game for a small studio just starting out or a group of friends making something to see if they can. Its free, its fun for what it is, try it out.
