About
Endorphin Vice runs one of the most advanced ragdoll systems in any sandbox game. Bodies react. Every character is built with precise, anatomically distributed weight, so physics behave exactly as they should under impact, gravity, and force.
Enemies collapse, stumble, grab at walls, and hit the ground differently every single time depending on the caliber, velocity, and angle of the hit. Critical impacts to the head or neck can trigger brain aneurysms, sending targets into a ragdoll coma. Cardiac arrest from extreme stress forces a full ragdoll collapse. Even the player ragdolls and can recover.
Every shot generates procedural mesh flesh deformation in real time. The wound reacts to exactly where you hit, what caliber you used, and how fast the round was traveling. The body bleeds out dynamically, staining walls, floors, and the surrounding environment with spreading blood pools that grow over time. New blood splatter tech interacts with surfaces and geometry realistically.
Dismemberment logic reflects the actual physics of the impact. High-caliber rounds penetrate and can take multiple enemies in a single shot. Gore System 2.0 fixed all legacy clipping issues and pushed the brutality further than ever before, including a dedicated chainsaw with its own execution animations and a fully overhauled machete suite.
Every punch carries real physical weight. Hit enemies until they bleed from the nose. Drop them with a knockout. Then walk up to a downed, ragdolled enemy and finish it with a head stomp.
Throw knives and axes with ultra-realistic physics. Weight, rotation, velocity, and impact are all fully simulated. Get close enough and the character automatically stabs downward, pinning the weapon into the target. No scripted hits. Physics only.
Agony System: visual shock post-impact, permanent blur below 25% HP
Cardiac Arrest: exceed 240 BPM from stress, bleeding, or drug abuse and your heart fibrillates. Instant clinical death.
Brain Aneurysm / Coma: critical head impacts trigger neurological overload and ragdoll coma states
Tourniquet: stops arterial bleeding instantly, but spikes your BPM
Adrenaline Syringe: ignore pain and sprint with a shattered pelvis. Spam it and die of a drug-induced heart attack.
Mannitol (Cranial Auto-Injector): the only way to pull yourself out of a coma
TACTICAL AI
Civilians react. If you start throwing hands in the streets, some will swing right back. The AI has been entirely rebuilt: enemies hear gunshots, footsteps, and impacts. They investigate last known positions, search dynamically, flank, and hunt. Police units follow strict behavioral logic. Civilians flee to the safest available position. NPCs who get shot will try to grab your barrel before they go down.
Every bullet is a physical projectile. Real gravity drop, wind deviation, material-based penetration, and true travel time. A real-time ballistic HUD displays live calculation data. High-caliber rounds punch through cover and chain into multiple targets.
Infinite Procedural CQB Mode: millions of RNG room combinations, zero pre-baked layouts, random day/night generation. No memorization. Pure reaction.
Brutal Wave-Based Horde System: dynamic, fully optimized enemy waves that hunt you down
Physics Helicopter: real lift, drag, torque, inertia, and crash behavior
100% Physics Vehicles: weight distribution, tire friction, suspension, destructible wheels with air loss
Physics Doors: breakable, kickable, breachable, lockable. No animations. Pure physics.
Kamikaze and Bomber Drones: strategic air assets
Woods Sandbox Map: vast open environment for large-scale tactical scenarios
Surface-Based Sliding: physics-driven slide affected by angle, friction, and speed. Shoot while sliding.
Procedural weapon sway with breathing micro-motions and weight shift
Realistic aiming hand tremors that intensify after damage or sprinting
Dynamic shoulder switching and corner peeking
Weapon wall-clip prevention: the barrel cannot pass through surfaces
Momentum-based directional dodging system
Procedural back-lean on sloped surfaces
Dynamic crosshair that turns red on hit
Endorphin Vice uses an intentionally stylized, low-mid-poly art direction. Every GPU cycle saved on rendering goes directly into the physics simulation. A built-in Hardware Inspector checks your CPU, RAM, and VRAM before launch and gives you a green/yellow/red readout so you know exactly what to expect.
Recent optimizations delivered a 33% reduction in per-frame character cost and a raw +20 to 60 FPS boost on most hardware. Real-time memory usage has been reduced by 62%. Loading times are up to 2.5x faster.
100+ customization options including hats, glasses, shirts, pants, tactical gear, helmets, and more. The game expands continuously. One developer. Every bug reported gets fixed fast.

For the price, it's an alright game. The gore is decent, the gunplay is meh, and the sound design could be a bit better. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I hate the game or anything. Just right now it isn't for me I might get it again when it's in a better state but for now I'll have it refunded
i like the game but it get boring fast
good

you can't play this ♥♥♥♥ without it crashing
Was hoping this game to be good, tried ripping first to see if it was worth anything but there is no rippable version of this game because of how TRASH it is. So guess what? I buy it wanting to try it and... THIS ISN'T EVEN A GAME, this wouldn't even be worth "ripping" for free in all honesty, I was hoping to maybe buy this and ATLEAST basic mechanics work and maybe I could get another copy to play with my boyfriend right? Nope, literally none of the gamemodes work, can't bring your spawned in weapons to any of the scenarios from horde, cqb raid (cqb raid is also pitch black, can't see a single thing.), etc. Only thing you can really do I suppose, is spawn dolls in your own little sandbox home which I didn't and will never do, I wanted to play horde with the guns picked out on that residential sub urban house map and shoot at gangsters running at me from a house, guess what? I can sit there and watch them get close to the house as an unarmed man only (even when in both menu loadout is filled with guns though I think that one is for MP which is dead, though I did the ones in SP loadouts too.), and the gangsters won't even walk into the house with me right next to the wall right next to the door even though they don't know I'm hiding there trying to execute them. But yeah this isn't a game, it's just a bunch of jumbled and soldered together menus, seemingly free or just low quality assets, dead lobbies (MP is non existent), all the weapon stats don't make sense / use the same ammo? (I.E a revolver use 9MM like any other pistol, ak's use 5.56 like a m4 would, etc), performance on our mac at high settings is good besides maybe an ever so slight dip when spinning the screen fast (though speaking of performance and graphic settings, this game's menu is so badly programmed and coded, changing and applying anything is impossible, I don't know what resolution were playing on as it's blanked and clicking on a new one will just be reset, but high graphic settings was on and not the ultra settings that I tried applying.), the shooting is way off and often hits the ground during simple movements / transitions and not just 1-3 times, 5 or so bullets some times, many other little bugs and things I noticed with my little time playing that I could mention such as the different "bodycam fovs" all suck and have the same shooting issues asides from the actual normal fps view and even the normal 3rd person leaning to the left aim is all wack and not target, could nitpick further out of my very small amount of time but here's my final verdict: 2/10 - Only thing it has going for it, is that it kinda runs alright even as someone translating this windows only game through crossover, I don't know what / how are other people having performance issues with this game (I.E some other reviewer talking about having a nasa computer and it'll still crash, well I'm on one of the weakest and oldest macs a.k.a the m1 pro.) unless it was an older build. But yeah, gameplay / gunplay / feel? TRASH. Menus / ui / hud? TRASH. Gamemodes? low effort and literally unplayable (how else do you get guns in these gamemodes? Can't seem to open a spawn menu or spawn guns pre gamemode). Maps? Feel like free asset flips / really low quality. The gore that I rarely got to seen and had to look it up / see it here? Honestly also trash, there's roblox games out here with better gore lol, let alone any other milsim / history shooters / vr / sandbox games that blows this game's gore out of the park: from bloodtrail vr, Blade and Sorcery vr, Gorebox, even GMOD with gore mods, Insurgency, Operator, Ready or Not, easy red 2, hell let loose, not to mention games like uhhh Halfsword? Literally any other game so far as I would to even go to say like cod WAW has better gore than this stretchy pixely gore system. Anyways, this was my experience of the game and feel like most is objective truth, many positive comments can keep talking about "MuH POteNtIAL mAn(game)", this game has been out for many years, and like many other games, will probably be stuck in EA hell for a long long time (if not indefinite) unfortunately... As I do see potential.
i'd recommend this game if youre looking for something that focuses more on realistic physics and interactions. the body movement and ragdoll physics arent always realistic, especially with how characters react to impacts, and some of the gore is definitely exaggerated for gameplay. at the same time, the environments, weapon handling, and some of the physical reactions are done pretty well. it still has some unrealistic parts and needs more polish, but overall it does a good job of making the gameplay feel physical and believable while still keeping it fun
