Endless Firepower puts you behind the trigger of millions of procedurally generated weapons and gives you a reason to use them in this fast-paced action roguelike where everything is generated and you'll never know what or where you'll be fighting next.

I'm struggling a bit with Endless Firepower, because while I love the core concept, I do feel that if you're willing to list your game on Steam, Early Access or not, it needs to be finished and polished enough for players to play and enjoy. You are making money off it, after all. That said, this is a mixed bag. Endless Firepower is a first-person roguelite heavily inspired by Borderlands, all the way down to the randomized weapon and shield generation and item crates/boxes strewn throughout the levels. Conceptually, this could be great - take the most addictive parts of Borderlands and boil them down into a concise roguelite. However, it has a number of pitfalls preventing it from truly being worth your time at this juncture: - Levels are repetitive and uninspired - you'll be looking at a lot of the same, room after room - Enemies are braindead and emphasize dead-eye player tracking, making avoiding and killing them both feel like chores - Hitboxes are nonsense - sniper rifles are borderline useless as a result - Poor implementation of boomer shooter movement - why do I need to hold shift to run? Why is walking even an option? - Lackluster roguelite mechanics - abilities are poorly explained, perks seem largely worthless, and no progression is preserved across runs - Item generation is random to the point of total dilution - you're barraged by guns and shields which seem to largely have similar stats, only occasionally being blessed with a truly unique item - FPS mechanics require refinement - shotgun shells travel hilariously slow, sniper zoom doesn't scale your mouse look speed/sensitivity, etc. And these aren't to say anything of the actual technical issues and bugs present - it's Early Access, so I'll toss the devs a bone there. There's a great concept here, and the presentation is really slick. Unfortunately, myriad mechanics just don't work well right now, leading to an underwhelming experience that's definitely not worth the asking price. I'll happily revisit this review as the game progresses. Hopefully the devs whip all this into shape. I like it. Smooth controls, good weapon handling. Needs more content and variation in environments but I have no regrets buying this in early access.
Endless firepower? More like endless fun! I like shooting the robots and then they go BOOM BOOM BOOM. Guns are fun to. Walrusking and Diomonder did some solid work on this game and it shows. This is a must buy for all gamers.
Endless Firepower is a fps with many loots to get set on differents planet, fighting horde of enemy with you’re weapon. Graphics (7.5 / 10) : The graphics are really nice, randoms planet to visits with some different atmospheres, nice mix of cell-shading with cubic area, differents types of foes and boss. Gameplay (6 / 10) : The battle gameplay is well done, 3 classes and some types of weapon in battle (gun, rifle, sniper …), each foes have his own partern and own attack, each weapon have multiple stats set on damage, firepower, accuracy … (like Borderlands series), and you can also found shield to protect again enemy hits. Unfortunately, the current game have a no character progression, one you die during you’re run, you lost everything, and start from over, I hope the developper will add a way to keep progress after death in future update, could because really interesting in my opinion, for still become stronger and stronger (like in hack’n’slash or borderlands games) Also you can get scrap during run for refill ammo, get a new weapon or upgrade one of you’re weapon. There no true gamepad support (at last for moving, skills, interact and jump). There no tutorial actually. Price (5 / 10) : The game cost around 8 euros, because of lack of progress I found it a little high actually, but the price will keep the same even with future update, so may could become a really good one in the future. Story/Music/Optimisation (6/10) : No story The Music and sound design are quite nice. No major problem optimisation, some fps drop but no freeze during gameplay (played on a i5, 2Go VRAM and 8Go RAM), get some bug after my first death for leaving the game. Final Note (6.1 / 10) : Endless Firepower is a fps with a good loot system that make you the felling to me stronger during the run, but there isn’t constant progress after finishing a run. Could only recommend this game if you are a fan of roguelike with fps gameplay actually. + : - Battle gameplay. - Many types of enemy to defeat. - Many types of weapon, optimisation of you’re character with weapon and shield during a run. - : - No Tutorial & no gamepad control. - Quite repetitive. - No character progress after finishing a run, we lost everything we get after dying a start from over. - Some bugs.
It's not bad, a fair bit of love has gone into this game to make it a strong base for a potentially great game in the future. The bit that stops me from playing right now is the air control, it's too much, when you let go of the movement buttons mid air you just stop, it gave me a bit of a headache to be honest. I did like a few of the guns I got, one rapid burst fire shotgun in particular. Will be keeping an eye on this game.
Roguelike game with no variety
This is a very okay-ish game at best, I know it's still very early access but I feel like the bosses of the first zone are very broken to the point I keep dying on it. I wouldn't recommend it as of yet but maybe in the future on the plus side, it can be very addictive but I feel like for the bosses mostly, they need fixing as I feel like they are broken ATM I'd gladly edit this review as they update as I know it's still very Early Access but for right now I'd wait
I was searching quite a while for a game like this. After playing Borderlands 2 for over 500 hours and Borderlands 3 for over 80 hours, I was searching for another looter shooter which scratches that itch. This game is a pure roguelike, which means you loose everything if you die in a run, so there is always more loot to find in your next run. You take nothing with you for your next try. The weapons are randomized in its stats, traits, aswell their looks, which makes finding and trying them satisfying. The maps itself are really repetitive, after my second run I already knew all the individual rooms from the first stage. This did not matter to me, because I wanted to find more guns and more loot :) If you look at the animations and the graphics you can see that this is an indie shooter but a well done one. The developers are active and are continuing updating the game. I'm having fun with this game and will keep an eye on the future updates.
LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE - The play button in the menu was un-clickable.
For a game that requires little to no space, it is pretty good. It obviously needs some tweaks and bug fixes but it is a pretty good game if you wanna progress fairly well and kill some time. My opinion is that it should be kind of hard to hate a game that is listed as "early access" because that should tell you there will be some type of issue/issues. It is totally understandable if the game is coming from a high level company that puts out games for a living *cough *cough BF 2042 *cough *cough....excuse me, but for group of devs putting together their first game; you have to hand it to them they did pretty good. The game runs smoothly and it isn't boring. Let them work out the kinks and continue read up on the developing news for the game and then try it out again if you didn't like it. All it takes is time and some dedication for it to become something beautiful, making a game is a lot more complicated than some would think so cut them some slack.
