Do not recomend it even at 6 euros. Not fun at all. I have asked for refund, in the first 5 minutes.
I wanna love it. Currently needs a big over haul. I noticed asset flips such as the mansion and village but i believe if used properly then no big deal as the assets are available for a reason and many indie developers use the same ones. no real story going on in this game just shoot some zombies and maybe get some frustration giggles. I am keeping the game no refunds. for the price i am willing to see if change will come. if not i missed out on a few cups of coffee.
ENDLESS DAYS Z is an ambitious third-person survival experience that attempts to blend open-ended exploration, zombie combat, and a grim post-apocalyptic narrative into a single, free-roaming package. Developed by GABRIEL RODRIGUES and published by GR GAMES STUDIO INDIE, the game presents itself as a harsh survival sandbox set in a world ravaged by a deadly viral outbreak. While its execution shows clear signs of roughness and early-stage development, its scope and thematic ambition reveal a project striving to grow into something larger than its current form. The game’s setting revolves around the catastrophic spread of DeltaVirus-7, a plague that has shattered civilization and turned large portions of humanity into violent infected. Players are dropped into this collapsing world with minimal handholding, expected to carve out survival by scavenging resources, fighting hostile forces, and uncovering fragments of the truth behind the outbreak. Rather than delivering a tightly scripted narrative, ENDLESS DAYS Z opts for environmental storytelling and loosely defined objectives, encouraging players to interpret the world through exploration and observation. This approach creates a sense of isolation and uncertainty that fits the genre, though it can also leave players feeling directionless at times. Gameplay centers on third-person action and survival combat. Players traverse open environments and engage enemies using a mix of firearms, melee weapons, and stealth tactics. Combat encounters range from skirmishes with slow but relentless infected to firefights against hostile human factions such as looters and rogue survivors. The freedom to approach encounters aggressively or cautiously adds flexibility, but the underlying mechanics remain fairly basic. Shooting and melee combat are functional rather than refined, with noticeable stiffness in movement and camera control that can occasionally undermine the intensity of encounters. Exploration is a major pillar of the experience. The game encourages players to roam through ruined cities, overgrown forests, abandoned industrial sites, and remote outposts in search of supplies and objectives. These areas aim to evoke a sense of desolation and decay, reinforcing the theme of a world reclaimed by chaos and nature. While some locations successfully convey atmosphere through lighting and scale, others feel repetitive or sparsely populated, highlighting limitations in environmental variety and handcrafted detail. The sense of discovery is present, but it often depends more on player curiosity than on structured incentives. Survival elements are woven into moment-to-moment play through resource management and risk assessment. Ammunition, health, and positioning matter, especially during extended engagements or exploration far from safe zones. However, these systems are relatively light compared to deeper survival simulations, functioning more as tension enhancers than as complex management layers. The result is a game that feels more like an action-focused survival adventure than a hardcore survival sim. Visually, ENDLESS DAYS Z aims for a realistic, high-definition look, with detailed environments and dynamic lighting used to convey mood. The ambition is evident, but technical consistency varies. Some scenes effectively capture the bleak beauty of abandoned spaces, while others suffer from asset repetition or uneven performance. Animations and character models also reflect the game’s indie scale, occasionally breaking immersion during combat or traversal. Sound design supports the atmosphere with ambient environmental noise, weapon effects, and distant audio cues that help sell the sense of danger. Music is used sparingly, often giving way to silence that heightens tension during exploration. Narrative audio and voice acting are minimal, placing the burden of immersion largely on visuals and environmental context rather than scripted storytelling. Community reception has reflected the game’s unfinished feel. Players often acknowledge its potential and thematic appeal while criticizing its lack of polish, unclear progression, and mechanical roughness. Controls, combat feedback, and overall cohesion are frequent points of concern, though some players express optimism about future updates and improvements. The developer’s openness to iteration suggests that ENDLESS DAYS Z is intended as an evolving project rather than a final, fully realized experience. Ultimately, ENDLESS DAYS Z is a raw and uneven but earnest attempt to deliver a post-apocalyptic survival game driven by exploration and freedom rather than strict structure. It will most strongly appeal to players who enjoy indie survival projects and are willing to tolerate rough edges in exchange for atmosphere and ambition. While it currently falls short of delivering a fully polished or deeply systemic experience, it lays a foundation that could grow into something more compelling with continued development. For now, it stands as a work-in-progress survival sandbox that hints at potential while clearly still finding its footing. Rating: 4/10
I don't know how to play it. Nothing happens as I try to interact with camp people. Game allows you to just walk around train depot and survivors camp. Chick is super cute, though.
