Single player felt absolutely meaningless, and multiplayer only has 1 server, should definitely be a free game until more is added into the game.
I will start off by saying I am a Beta Tester for the game, but my review will be completely honest and not be biased on that fact. After my 13 hours of gameplay, I can say this game has a lot of growing pains to work through. It is in no way a finished product or does it ever claim to be, hence the early access. If you aren't willing to help the development team work out kinks or are the kind of person who cannot play unfinished games as these kinks are worked out, then this is not the product for you. I will say however, this development is extremely committed to those who play the game and the overall health of the community. They do everything in their power to ensure that bugs are fixed in a timely manner and genuinely take the suggestions that the community puts forth into consideration. I have experienced the epic gunfights, base raids and even zombie hordes that the game has to offer and honestly, for $15, the game is a steal even in its current state. A lot of other reviews are complaining there is nothing to do, but haven't explored enough to find the Guardian base that you can raid AI for high end loot or even explored enough to find another player to try out the PvP. That being said, if you genuinely give this game a chance, you will not be let down. It is worth every penny, even with the bugs that are present, because I believe and trust in the development team to take the time to fix any issue that arises. --{Horror}--- ☐ You will never be able to sleep again ☐ You will be crying yourself to sleep ☐ You will sleep fine, but may scream a lot ☐ Meh, FNAF ☑ Only occasional jumpscares ☐ My little pony --{Graphics}--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☑ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ Paint.exe ---{Gameplay}--- ☐ Addictive ☑ Very good ☐ Good ☐ It‘s just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Starring at walls is better ☐ Just don‘t ---{Audio}--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☑ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ Earrape ---{PC Requirements}--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☐ Potato ☐ Decent ☑ Fast ☐ Rich boiiiiii ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{Difficulity}--- ☐ Just press ‚A‘ ☐ Easy ☐ Significant brain usage ☑ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls ---{Story}--- ☑ There is none ☐ Text or Audio floating around ☐ Average depends an DLC ☐ Good ☐ Lovley ☐ It‘ll replace your life ---{Game Time}--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of tea ☐ Short ☑ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond ---{Price}--- ☐ There is no „price“ ☑ Worth the price ☐ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ Burning your money is better ---{Bugs}--- ☐ Never heard of ☐ Minor bugs ☑ Can get annoying ☐ Assassin‘s Creed: Unity ☐ Get a nuke full of bug spray ---{hackers}--- ☑ there is none ☐ not much ☐ there is few ☐ there is one every game ☐ unplayable

When you manufacture tools, they don't work! The primary character is very slow and sometimes moves in a jerky movement, takes hours to play a segment of the game! May be "Early Access', but I expected better!
I've put about three hours in so far so keep that in mind. I think this game has a lot of promise once the devs iron out some of the kinks. The atmosphere is great and reminds me of classic H1Z1 (with better graphics). I like being able to find weapons and ammo within' the first 30 minutes of exploring. I like that I can craft a backpack with relative ease. I like that they start you out with a decent amount of inventory space. As much as I love games like SCUM and DAYZ, those can be really off putting to friends who aren't super into spending 30 hours just get decently kitted. This game strikes a nice balance between just enjoying the genre, with enough challenge to make it good for role-playing, but not strict enough to make it a chore to play. Oddly enough it's rare in a zombie survival game where you have literal HORDES of zeds roaming the countryside. Sure the animations and collision iterations feel early... but it's early access. And the game JUST launched. Please, please please devs do not give up on this, I think you might have a really great standout Zombie survival MMO. Add in their intended focus on building communities and towns with other players, and I think this game could scratch an itch I've been trying to scratch since H1Z1: Just Survive went offline. Even for a launch day, the servers were fairly stable. I was able to get in and play for a couple hours on the first day... almost unheard of for other EA games in the genre. There was a beautiful moment I experienced when I was exploring near a coast as the sun was setting. I looked out in the distance and saw around ten zombies on the top of a ridge, perfectly silhouetted against the fading light. It felt so authentic for the genre. Anyways, here's the TLDR: PROS: -great atmosphere / weather effects -lots of zombies -loot = exists (found an m4 without a stock within' the first 15 minutes of exploring) -map size is good, not small but not so big that you're traveling roads for hours -survival system is simple (if you see water, you can drink it, if you find food, you can eat it -- don't have to mess with intricate diseases) -afaik, no item degradation, once you find something or craft it, it's yours -Devs incredibly responsive and helpful in discord -surprisingly good soundtrack CONS: (WILL CHANGE AS GAME GETS UPDATED) -animations need a little work -some bugs (some items not being able to be picked up) -some of the audio feels placeholder -some optimization / server stability needs to be made But as you can see, nearly all of the cons listed above can be smashed with a handful of updates -- so I'm not too worried, just being transparent. Hope people interested in the genre give this one a chance. 14.99 is a perfect price point, and I feel that is a fair price for the content available. Have a nice day everyone.
i remember how good your first trailer was...... now a absolute nightmare!!!!
alright so, everyone is so harsh on this game, i literally only played for about 10 min. now i understand its early access, i understand the possibility that devs lack funding to do much more significant progress in development and as such the game is $15. but, i do agree that there should be at least something to do aside from look for scarcely populating loot to craft with. youve essentially got a lesser early version of rust. i stopped after 10 min because everything lagged no matter what. im not on a super cheap pc but its also not considered high end, im about midway between recommended and minimum specs for the game. it hurts that i spent $15 on it BUT i look forward to see what progress comes. because the end goal sounds promising. essentially combining rust, vrchat, and day z together to form a zombie infested, pvp/pve, open world and what i look forward to most is the realistic aspect of the world is now dog eat dog and the aim is to rebuild society. but this isnt rebuild a town with some npcs, this is building a whole digital community in game. i mean, imagine, the potential for factions to form, rival towns/bases etc. i have high hopes for all that. NOTE TO DEVS:i practically have ides runnning through my head about anything and everything all day every day. only thing thats stopped me from inventing some of the ideas, or creating some of them is funds. so that being said, if yall ever put out for the public to give yall some ideas or brainstorming. im your man, feel free to contact me
DO NOT EVER BUY THIS GAME
Take what a lot of these snowflakes say with a grain of salt. They have no understanding of the life cycle of a games development. This is a good game on a SOLID foundation. I have had the opportunity to play the beta and personally interact with the developers and they are a dedicated crew. The are in touch with the player base and listen to them. If you are like me and enjoy the ride of the development of a game and being part of it, you will like it. The negative review are written by uninformed individuals who do not understand what it takes to make a game. This is a playable game that is fun and functional, yes, there are going to be bugs and glitches along the way but DayZ, RUST, SCUM and the like ALL still have bugs and glitches and they have massive development teams. This dev crew consist of 2-3 people and in my opinion are doing a great job!
Great little basebuilding game ,stuff needs worked on but the foundation is here and the devs can be worked with to mould the game you want to see, it's early access so it is what it is.
Needs a lot of work but keeping it in my library cos the finished product might be good I can see where they are going with this game but we shall see
