It was fun. I've accepted my ♥♥♥♥♥ nature.
I hesitate to recommend this game. There are a lot of reasons not to, and only one reason why I do. The story is not gripping and there are no lewd animations. At first, the card battles are pretty easy. They get tougher in the second half of the game, and I was actually defeated once (losing two rounds in a row). But the computer opponent can make some pretty dumb mistakes, which gives the human player an advantage, so it should be uncommon for the human player to be defeated, though it obviously can happen. Still, I rather enjoyed the card battles, and I typically don't enjoy the genre. Is it worth the price? I'd say only if you get it on sale. When I buy a game on Steam, I hope to get at least an hour of play for each dollar spent, and that's exactly what happened for me with this game. It wouldn't have happened if I'd paid full price. I've played other games that gave me an even better time-to-dollar ratio than 1-to-1. If you're looking for h-scenes, well, I wouldn't recommend this game if that's all you're interested in. I also wouldn't recommend this game to someone primarily interested in visual novels. While the game is tagged on the store page as a Visual Novel having Multiple Endings, those multiple endings are simply different paragraphs you choose from once you've won your final battle. None of the choices during the game really matter. It's almost a kinetic novel, except for some token choices you're allowed to make to read a few different paragraphs. I'll only recommend this game if you're interested in card battlers. Even then, if you're really into card battlers, this one might be too easy for you. The one bug I ran into was the withholding of the last achievement from me, which I'm sure I earned, but wasn't granted.

I love games from these guys. and this time did not disappoint. it's nice to see new mechanics that dilute the dialogues with my favorite characters
In the mid of story. For this moment I can say - great! Worth of money and time! Stripping girls on damage in card battles - nice touch! Offtop - poor dude just wanted to play card game and all this ♥♥♥♥ happened jesus
Epic! You think you can imagine high stakes for a card game. Think again. Alien girl is my favorite here! Work smooth for me. Played 1920x1080. But in a window 4:3 got few visual bugs. Hope they will fix it!
Интересная карточная игра. Рекомендую!
Pretty fun, short and sweet.
EmyLiveShow: BossRush, developed and published by Team Emily, is a distinctive blend of card battling and visual novel storytelling wrapped in a playful, sensual theme. It positions itself less as a deep strategy game and more as a stylish, adult-oriented experience that combines light interactive mechanics with seductive character encounters. The premise is simple but designed to fit the game’s flirtatious tone—you take on the role of a hero who must face a series of alluring yet dangerous female bosses in order to save the world. The setup leans heavily on parody and indulgence, presenting itself as a tongue-in-cheek adventure where the line between battle and temptation blurs. Beneath the provocative presentation lies a game that understands its audience: it’s made for those who want an accessible, visually appealing experience that balances playful interaction with erotic storytelling. At its core, EmyLiveShow: BossRush revolves around a straightforward card battle system. Players collect cards that represent different actions, abilities, or attacks, and use them in turn-based confrontations against the bosses. Each battle plays out as a test of resource management and timing rather than high-level strategy, making the system easy to learn and forgiving for newcomers. The mechanics are intentionally simple, offering just enough variation to keep the player engaged without becoming overly complex. The pacing ensures that card battles act as interludes between story-driven moments rather than the main attraction. For players accustomed to the intricate synergies of larger card games, the combat might seem shallow, but in the context of EmyLiveShow’s structure, it serves its purpose: to maintain a rhythm between dialogue, art reveals, and progression. The battles themselves are fast and visually stimulating, punctuated by flashy effects and character animations that emphasize personality and flair. The narrative doesn’t attempt to be profound, but it carries an undeniable charm. The concept of battling “sexy bosses” is clearly self-aware, presented with a wink to the audience. Each boss is designed as a character archetype, blending humor, sensuality, and challenge into a single encounter. Dialogue exchanges before and after battles are laced with flirtation and teasing, creating a tone that is more playful than exploitative. There’s a deliberate campiness to the writing that helps it stand apart from more serious visual novels—the story knows it’s absurd, and it embraces that absurdity fully. The lighthearted tone prevents the game from feeling heavy or brooding, ensuring that even as you “fight” these seductive opponents, the focus remains on entertainment and personality rather than stakes or complexity. Visually, EmyLiveShow: BossRush is one of the game’s strongest assets. The art direction is bold, colorful, and unapologetically stylized to emphasize the allure of its characters. Each boss is drawn with distinctive flair, their designs tailored to reflect both their personalities and their powers. The environments and UI complement this focus, using vibrant colors and smooth transitions that enhance the presentation. The animations, while modest in scope, are fluid enough to add liveliness to interactions, and the quality of the artwork matches the kind of boutique craftsmanship often seen in indie visual novels. The music follows suit—energetic, playful, and slightly seductive, fitting the tone without overpowering the visuals. The overall aesthetic feels polished and confident, demonstrating that even smaller projects can achieve a cohesive artistic vision when style is prioritized over scale. Because the game prioritizes presentation and atmosphere over depth, its replayability hinges largely on how invested players become in its art and characters. The story’s linearity and the simplicity of the battles mean that once you’ve conquered the bosses and unlocked the various scenes, there’s little incentive to return beyond collecting missing CGs or revisiting favorite moments. The brevity, however, works in its favor—it delivers a focused experience that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Players looking for something light and satisfying will appreciate how quickly it delivers on its promise, while those expecting longer campaigns or more tactical combat may find it lacking in substance. It’s an experience designed for short, enjoyable bursts rather than long sessions of deep engagement. In terms of tone and intention, EmyLiveShow: BossRush never hides what it is. It’s a self-aware, adult-themed game that blends flirtation and fun into a compact, visually appealing package. Its simplicity isn’t a flaw but a deliberate design choice that prioritizes approachability and charm over complexity. The humor, the art, and the structure all work together to create a product that delivers exactly what it advertises: an indulgent, cheeky boss rush that balances eroticism with light strategy. It’s not meant to compete with large-scale visual novels or competitive card games—it’s a niche title aimed squarely at those who enjoy this intersection of style and sensuality. For that audience, it succeeds admirably, offering a polished, confident, and entertaining experience that proves even the most playful ideas can work when executed with care and personality.
