Emperor of the Fading Suns Enhanced

This is probably my game of the year for 2025 Multiplayer. If you can get a team of 5 humans together you can create some of the most incredible turn-based multiplayer mayhem that exists out there. And being the best at the mechanics of the game is not enough to win if you can't also bring your out-of-game diplomacy hat to the race. Never has such a simple game concept kept me up at night while I plan and scheme my way to victory or glorious defeat. Can't recommend this enough for someone looking for real diplomatic strategy multiplayer.

Played this as a kid when it first came out and super nostalgic to relive those memories, plus it seems like the Devs fixed the issues I remember from first release. Graphics may not be polished but the core gameplay is incredibly fun and replayable (beaten it twice so far and starting a third playthrough).

Have owned this game since it first came out years ago. I still have the printed manual & tech tree poster. A game ahead of its time when released, it has only improved with age. Played this new enhanced version on GoG, it was well worth getting again on Steam. Looking forward to the continued development of this classic. Highly recommend to any 4x space strategy fan!

If you are a fan of strategy games, okay passing back and forth a save file between friends, and aren't disgusted by 1997 graphics, then you'll find out that this game is fantastic! I recommend getting the game manual online and running through the "Quick Start / Tutorial" section if you want to learn how to use the controls. (Recommend watching a YouTube video or two on mechanics afterwards.) A fun strategy game made for playing with a group of friends, with deep mechanics that are easy to digest!

Generally speaking a good and very enjoyable game. Graphics and user interface definitely show their age, but if you can get past that it's easy to find yourself in a constant cycle of "just one more turn..." fun. Recommended for anyone who likes turn-based strategy games.

I saw this game getting a lot of praise for its game design and decided to check it out. Now I can't stop playing...

I remember trying to play this game as a child, even then I understood that it's really cool, but it was also too complicated for me. Rediscovering this gem now was great. From a braver time in game design it combines civ-lite planetary development and warfare with MoO-lite space fleet and combat management into a unique and fun combination. You can also research technologies, the tech tree branches a lot so in each playthrough you can take a different path and focus. The setting is totally not dune and warhammer mached together. Describing all the tiny unique mechanics: holy and capital worlds; resources as units that you have to ferry around between planets; political power as special units that can be captured; relics that can make you stack almost unbeatable; aliens!; would take too long, but they all combine into a truly unique combination that makes for very fun game that really makes you feel like you're a space feudal fighting for power in a doomed universe

This is a classic. I've loved it since it first came out. So happy to see it getting continued love and attention!

ОСТОРОЖНО! ЗАТЯГИВАЕТ! Если вы читали Дюну и шарите за Вархамер 40к, то что может случиться если объединить эти две вселенные? Ну или они вышли из этой.. На вид простенькая и неказистая стратегия, но стоит только осознать все глубины и вариативность игры как голова идет кругом) Умели же раньше делать игры которые затягивают!
