if it wasnt for the ending id probably say this was a decent game but you just can't win with her

it's not a good story if you want more than romance & teen/young adult drama. it's not a good game if you want more freedom to choose how you respond. i found it a hassle to have to "type" the messages before i'm even able to send them when i'm not even really typing the text down, but i guess that's part of the "experience." anyway, this game isn't for me
You talk to people which I have no experience doing cause I have no friends
Pretty short but it's a great game with a sad story. Your choices matter and there are some cool easter eggs.I grew up with Windows XP & MSN, this makes me very nostalgic.
emily porque me prometiste cosas tan bonitas si sabías que algún día te ibas a ir?
Windows XP startup sound, small easter eggs, the way messages get rewritten before sending, for such a small and free game it was a great experience going back to the 2000s. You get to make choices that fit your style, and live with its consequences, but at the end of the day, the emotions that this game puts you through are relatable, that alone is a reason to spend your time. Oh, also, try the screenname JohnCena :D
Great story. Just keep in mind that "branching narrative" is a misleading. Some decisions, light and major, happen off-screen that you have no control over and can make your character look like a massive jerk. The decision of having to type the replies (see in the trailer how the messages are written? You have to type each letter/character to have it match the final message your character sends) is also a annoying. Just selecting the option and having it write for you would have been way better. Steam doesn't have a mixed rating, so I will give it a recommend just because the game is free. If you had to pay, it would be a no. Light Spoiler: Spend an hour at it and don't bother with alternate paths. The endings are pretty much the same and reading the alternatives is better than redoing the game due to the typing issue.
why can't we just be happy Emily, I want you
I love text based "your choice matters" kind of games, but it'd be an exaggeration to call this game one.
