In Emergency Call – The Firefighting Simulation 3, you are part of a German professional fire department and bear responsibility for the safety of your city. When an emergency call comes in at the dispatch center, every firefighter knows their role. Which position you take on is entirely up to you.
During your 24-hour shifts, you make purposeful use of the time between calls to prepare for a wide variety of challenges. A daily rotating duty roster gives you the opportunity to take part in training courses, drills, and physical fitness sessions. In doing so, you earn the qualifications needed to be deployed in different roles – from attack squad member to engineer across a range of emergency vehicles.
In the training courses, you are taught all the necessary knowledge in both theory and practice to take on new responsibilities on the job.
Drills with equipment such as the Halligan tool help you optimize procedures and save valuable time during operations. Working with a thermal imaging camera is also a skill that needs to be practiced.
Daily physical training increases your stamina under stress, which makes a real difference out in the field. Strength, endurance, and recovery capacity can all diminish over time if neglected. Your endurance, in particular can be a decisive factor in saving valuable time during an incident.
Beyond that, there are many routine tasks at the station that form an important part of daily fire house life – and they all need to get done.
Once the alarm sounds, a large operational area with diverse urban districts awaits you. From classic firefighting operations to traffic accidents, you'll face numerous incidents spanning rescue, firefighting, recovery, and hazard protection. A dynamic day-night cycle and changing weather conditions add further challenges and variety.

Let's be clear: the game is well optimized and runs smoothly from a technical standpoint. The main issue I personally had was that there was no obvious way to switch the language to English, so it remained in German. I eventually had to fix it using a Steam launch command. At the moment, the game only offers a very short introductory tutorial. After that, you start your shift and receive calls to extinguish burning garbage containers—and that's all there is right now. At the main station, you can train your firefighter to improve attributes, and in the vehicle bay you can organize the equipment carried on the truck and even wash it with a pressure washer. It goes without saying that the game is still missing textures and many environmental details in the buildings and city. You also can't drive the fire truck yet, and if there are vehicles blocking the road while responding to one of the container fire calls, your truck simply drives straight through them. Another thing that caught my attention is that the AI does almost all the setup and cleanup work for you. It also seems unnecessary for the crew to deploy multiple hose sections every time when the quick attack hose is more than enough for the firefighting missions currently available. **Conclusion:** The game shows a lot of potential, but considering its current state and the amount of content it offers, I find the price quite hard to justify. I wouldn't even call it an Early Access title at this point—it's more like a technical demo. I do recommend it, but only once it's further along in development. I'm not going to refund it because I believe the developers can turn it into a very good game once it's more mature. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vamos a ver, el juego está bien optimizado, fluye de manera estable en lo que a apartado técnico se refiere. El problema que tuve personalmente es que no había manera de cambiarlo a inglés, y se me quedaba en alemán, teniéndolo que solucionar desde un comando en Steam. Por otra parte comentar que el juego ahora mismo solo ofrece un pequeño tutorial introductorio, y entras de servicio recibiendo avisos de ir a apagar contenedores de basura (no hay más). En la base central, puedes entrenar el personaje para mejorar atributos y en el hangar de vehiculos puedes ayudar a organizar los elementos que porta el mismo, además de lavarlo con pistola de agua a presión. Huelga decir que al juego le faltan texturas y elementos de edificios y ciudades, no deja conducir el camión de momento, y si yendo a uno de esos servicios de apagado de contenedor de basura se encuentra vehículos delante, los atraviesa sin más. Otra cosa que me ha llamado la atención es que la IA te quita todo el trabajo de montar y recoger. Y es innecesario que te monten todos los tramos de manguera cuando con la manguera de ataque rápido basta para las misiones de extinción que ofrece el juego. Conclusión: El juego pinta bien, pero dado el estado en el que se encuentra y las características que ofrece, me parece un poco insultante el precio. No puedo calificarlo de early access ni tan siquiera, es una demo técnica. Lo recomiendo pero cuando esté más desarrollado. No lo voy a devolver porque creo que harán un buen trabajo cuando esté más maduro.

However, the character animations are still just as stiff as before. I really hope the official version will include Chinese language support. We need Chinese.
Excellent base for what's to come alot of potential... People are complaining of being lost in the firehall and they need to put markings... They did its easy to navigate if you're not a mouth breathing re**rd... I also did not have a single crash during my playthrough thus far... I would ignore the negative reviews for the time being as its EA and they clearly show not everything is done.
