Do you know the feeling: Have I played this before? This is a generic RPGMaker game. You can only save at special points, for secrets you must click/bump into everything. Ah, this game is simple boring!

screen ratio is locked to a weird size, music so load without an option to turn it down in game. very old school feel to the visuals and i liked the music but UI looked tacky in most places, like exploring state chatting is in the middle of your screen hiding all the game/environment and combat UI super messy too. i can see someone liking this on the sale price but i cant get myself to continue playing it

It's a pretty serviceable JRPG. It's roughly 12 hours or so long, perhaps a little more if you are looking for secrets and doing side quests. Three difficulty settings. The writer could use a proofreader, because there are a number of run-on sentences because he doesn't know how to properly use a comma.

I wouldn't necessarily call this game a masterpiece, but it was a fun little gem. The combat was decent, the story was pretty darn solid, and the world was fun to explore (so many secrets!). I think my only gripe would be with the writing - every now and again, there'd be a dialogue exchange that just didn't *feel* right, and it would pull me out of the immersion.

I frickin' hate games like this that gets you all the way to the end to not the final boss but to several final bosses in a row where you can't save and you can't heal your team.either. I am not going to fight the final bosses several times just to win a stupid game like this.
