One event (Hiroshi Suzuki's Anger) felt sudden leaving with the loss of a character and left no room to reconcile. Even with the choice of being explained on why it happened, left no option to reconcile. [b]Conclusion:[/b] Eldritch University being a direct sequel to Eldritch Academy, it provides a healthy balance between character relationships and the plot at hand. The implementation of Yuri in a heterosexual dominant culture is done correctly, as it doesn't feel forced but natural, along with sex feeling important to character development. With multiple choices, it gives you a variety of endings that are thought out along with an Aftermaths section that help enhance the conclusions of the good endings. Eldritch University proves itself to be a large improvement from previous titles while maintaining the original feeling. [b]Score:[/b] 9/10 OUTSTANDING

This is an interesting VN that has one massive thing going for it – while it stylizes itself as a supernatural thriller, the best part about it is without any doubt the relationship between the protagonist, Kasumi, and Misaki, the girlfriend she was recently reconnected with after three years. Their story was rather briefly established in this game's prequel, Eldritch Academy (mostly in bonus content, as they were secondary characters in that game), but here it developed into really satisfying, well-paced love drama about overcoming the baggage of the long years of separation forced by Misaki's conservative mother, and the social stigma of being openly gay in Japan. Of course, this kind of story is nothing new, but here it was executed in such a natural-feeling and emotionally gratifying way that it think it genuinely stands out from your average yuri drama in a very positive way. The supernatural intrigue that drives the game's plot is honestly much less in-depth and feels slightly rushed – thankfully, its interplay with the love story makes it pretty meaningful and engaging. It continues some of the story threads from the first game and introduces new side characters who, I assume, are meant to work as protagonists for possible next entry in the series... But you'll enjoy this game the most if you approach it as a romance story and consider everything else as the context for Kasumi and Misaki rebuilding their relationship. Also, for those interested, the game has a nice, romantic/softcore sex scene – personally, I really appreciate this kind of approach to sexual content, as it was genuinely story-relevant and nice to read. The visuals and music are very average, although they're definitely an improvement over Eldritch Academy – that game's sprites looked a little bit "off", while here the art is simply a little bit stiff and low on detail. In the end though, I think that if you're a fan of yuri romance, this game should be worth it for you – particularly because it's very reasonably priced and doesn't overstay its welcome (no filler content or pointless fluff). Tried to play this, but there were no choices for a long while. I then hit skip and auto forward. Three choices from start to finish. Save your money. Also note this produced an Avast virus warning on first launch

[h1]Eldritch University is a supernatural horror Visual Novel with yuri subplot. [/h1] Honestly, the whole supernatural theme is my biggest gripe about this game. I understand that it was needed (continuation of story from different game made by this studio), but it was too boring for me. Length of this game didn't help either. Two hours were not enough to make this story more interesting. What was good then? Definitely yuri romance part. More grounded approach to LGBTQ+ issues was really refreshing. I recommend to play Extras after the main story. TL;DR: May be worth if you're fan of yuri. For everyone else - not really. Eldritch University is a fun visual novel. I didn't like it as much as Eldritch Academy, but I still thought it was a super good read overall. This game also sets up the possibility of a sequel. Eldritch Investigations anyone? :D

just 4 Hours and i still recommend it yeah...feels wierd. Still this Game is a lot better than the first one in terms of Yuri and Horror as the Music does have a realy nice creepy feel to it. The Relationship as well is much more serious and feels more real. All in all i dont think its a Mistake to get this especialy on sale

Short game but a good creepy feel, pretty artwork, a great relationship story, and relatable characters. The music enhanced the mood very well. Good suspense too, as well as depicting good old college angst (not to mention the supernatural angst). I loved the character interactions on this one. For such a short game (but still well worth the price) it never seemed artificial.

Found this book easier to read than Eldritch Academy, mainly cause I like the protagonist better which helps cause I didn't care much about the supporting cast and the villain wasn't as good as EA. But I was engage in the main couple trying to support each other. So yeah, I recommend this for the romance alone.
