Love the music and visual effects. The gameplay is fresh and weird in a way my brain really enjoys!

Wonderful block-clearing puzzle game in the vein of Lumines, with a great soundtrack and well-tuned gameplay. It may take a few minutes to get used to shifting colors through the blocks instead of rotating them but when it clicks, it clicks and stays fun for a long time.

I've had a lot of fun with Ekstase so far. The game has mesmerizing visuals and a fantastic soundtrack. It's multiple modes offer lots of replayability and a great amount of addictive challenge - it's definitely worth the price! Kudos for the accessibility settings.

Very simple but also complex puzzler, pretty satisfying and the beats are pretty addicting

If you're a fan of Lumines you'll want to play this, but your skill will not carry you. I haven't played the adaptive Flow mode yet (from what I know that's the easier one) but everything else has tested my block puzzler skill to a degree I'm not quite at yet. Visually and audibly stunning, perhaps hypnotic in some ways, but with the available options it'll never get in the way. If you're into block games, this is a must play. Important to note, one of the achievements is to get first place on a leaderboard. 100%ing this one might be rough in the future.

A very cool little puzzle game that plays like Lumines crossed with Tetris (but with wilder shapes for the blocks), with a techno soundtrack that I vibe with very hard, as well as two rotation styles that each play very differently (rotating the colors within the shapes vs rotating the shapes themselves like in a standard puzzle game). Those looking for chill puzzle times will probably enjoy this a lot. There's also a ton of accessibility options, and the developer is very open to feedback (I made a mode suggestion in the forums and they added it to the game :D).

UPDATE! review as of 24th dec 2020, with version update 1.0.4 - some stuff has been added and tweaked with this update that makes the game feel a lot more satisfying and enjoyable to play. whilst i still have a few issues and picks with the game as it is now (the special blocks are hard to notice when they appear, the music transitions are still a bit rough, and the gameplay still feels a bit basic), i can more happily recommend you give this one a look. im still amazed the dev hasnt told me to fxxk off already lmao. looking forward to future updates. review as of 6th december 2020. likely to change in near future as game gets further updates. I want to like Ekstase. I really, really wanted to like it. But it's just incredibly half baked. I don't think this is a bad game, by any means. It's just massively disappointing and the description kind of oversells itself. What you're going to find here is a semi-okay mashup of Lumines and Tetris style gameplay with a mere 21(!) minutes of okay-ish songs that are facsimiles of Berlin techno tunes that have really REALLY rough and ugly crossfade transitions. There's something here, for sure, but it needed WAY more time in the oven. But they are my honest thoughts. Fun single player arcade puzzle game with multiple modes to choose from. I like Type B flow mode :)
