Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is rough—but hey, it’s a dollar, hahaha. Don’t buy it unless you’re a nutjob like me who enjoys hunting for quirky, almost unplayable games. I managed to get about half an hour of entertainment out of it, and it seems like the devs are active, so who knows? This might actually turn into a fun game soon enough.

EGOS has a nice retro low-poly style and a fun mix of exploration combat and puzzles. The story slowly reveals itself as you progress and the survival mode adds some extra replay value. A solid indie adventure worth checking out.
EGOS - Tales of Fallen Souls, developed and published by NEZOS GAMES, is a small-scale fantasy action-adventure that blends exploration, combat, and light puzzle-solving within a low-poly 3D world. Released initially in Early Access in 2017, the game presents an ambitious narrative premise centered on identity, memory, and redemption. Players assume the role of a wandering soul inhabiting a borrowed body known as an “Egos,” embarking on a quest to reclaim their original form while confronting the forces that have plunged the kingdom of Talia into darkness. The narrative foundation revolves around a fragmented sense of self. Awakening without memory, the protagonist must piece together both their purpose and the fate of the surrounding world. This framing gives the journey a contemplative tone, as exploration becomes intertwined with uncovering fragments of lore scattered across the environment. The kingdom of Talia is portrayed as a land caught between light and shadow, and the overarching objective gradually shifts toward confronting powerful adversaries known as Lords. While the storytelling is modest in scope and largely conveyed through environmental cues and brief narrative elements, it establishes a thematic backbone that supports the gameplay. Exploration plays a central role in progression. Players traverse open areas filled with enemies, hidden pathways, and puzzle mechanisms that gate access to new regions. Environmental puzzles typically involve interacting with switches, unlocking sealed areas, or locating key items tied to defeated enemy commanders. The design encourages careful observation rather than constant combat, though enemy encounters are frequent enough to keep tension present. Over forty enemy types appear throughout the journey, adding visual and behavioral variety to battles. Combat mechanics are straightforward but functional. Players engage enemies in real-time encounters using basic attack patterns, movement, and defensive maneuvers. While the system does not offer the depth of larger action RPGs, it provides a steady rhythm of confrontation between exploration segments. Boss-like encounters against Lords serve as milestones in the campaign, often requiring preparation and resource management. Survival elements are lightly integrated, particularly in Survival Mode, where players must endure waves of enemies on procedurally arranged maps while scavenging for equipment and healing items. The game includes multiple modes beyond the primary story campaign. Survival Mode offers replayability through randomized encounters and escalating difficulty, while Art Mode provides access to concept artwork and development materials that offer insight into the project’s creative direction. This additional content reflects the developer’s ambition to expand the experience beyond a linear narrative. However, the depth of each mode varies, and the overall experience can feel constrained by the limited resources typical of small indie productions. Visually, the game adopts a low-poly aesthetic reminiscent of early 3D adventure titles. Character models and environments are simple but cohesive, contributing to a consistent visual identity. Large environments sometimes feel sparse, with open areas lacking dense environmental detail. Lighting and textures remain basic, yet the stylistic approach gives the game a certain nostalgic charm. Audio design complements the fantasy setting with ambient music and understated effects, reinforcing atmosphere without dominating the experience. Reception has been divided, reflecting the game’s mix of ambition and technical limitations. Some players appreciate its heartfelt approach to storytelling and the variety offered by different modes. Others point to uneven pacing, mechanical roughness, and difficulty spikes that can disrupt immersion. The Early Access origins remain evident in certain aspects of polish and balance, giving the overall product a somewhat unfinished feel. Ultimately, it stands as a passionate indie effort that attempts to merge action, exploration, and survival within a fantasy framework. Its strengths lie in its thematic premise and the diversity of its modes, while its limitations stem from execution and refinement. For players drawn to experimental indie adventures with low-poly aesthetics and modest scope, it can offer a brief and atmospheric journey. Those seeking polished mechanics and expansive storytelling may find it lacking, but its earnest ambition and distinct identity give it a place among niche fantasy explorations on Steam. Rating: 5/10
