Whether you prefer overwhelming foes with sheer numbers or deploying elite squads for precision strikes, tailor your military to reflect your unique strategy and ambitions. From your War Room, lead grand campaigns against NPC settlements and rival players. Launch daring raids to seize resources, deploy specialist units to crush enemy defenses, and halt their offensive. Conquer all of EDYN and assert your supremacy.
Forge powerful alliances and engage in intricate diplomacy. Utilize in-game chat and direct messaging to conspire with allies, negotiate pacts, and influence the world's fate. Support your friends with resources or troops, and together, leave an indelible mark on EDYN.

Summary: The game is basically a giant game of RISK, in real time (that persists 24/7 even when you log) -- where the more you play the more successful you can be. Currently, at the time of review this game is in Early Access, and has ZERO p2w mechanics. This sets it apart from other games of this style/genre. My review is in 3 parts, as I progressed and got further into the game. I'm leaving my initial review for first impressions. It is below the ~~~~~ ~19 hours in, probably my final review: I don't dislike the game, but I don't think its a game for me. Watching the trailers, I hoped this game would be a Medieval - "Shattered Galaxy" a game that I spend countless hours on in the early 2000s. I have yet to find a game that scratches that itch, and this is not that game. I can't penalize them for that, but the RTS tag is really what drew me in. Unfortunately this game is more like "Evony without P2W" than it is a 'true' rts like age of empires. Technically the game is a RTS as it is perpetual, and uses "real time" -- your base can be attacked or killed at any time even when sleeping. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Updated review: ~10 hours in I wish Steam let you give a neutral review as that is what I would now give EDYN. It still feels like it could be a mobile game, but unlike any similar mobile game it is NOT p2w, at least not yet anyways. I'm not sure I like it yet, but as you can see from my initial review / playtime... its got me coming back. So we'll see how far along I am by the time I review it again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Initial review: ~3 hours in I'm going to give it a few more hours, but so far, I would not recommend. What drew me to this game was the RTS tag. So far other than 'the world existing/persisting when you log' I have seen zero RTS elements. This game is basically Evony, not Age of Empires. So far it feels like a mobile game.

30G for a browser game thats 1% completed. takes tons of memory+gpu power to run... sus
The game is made by ai, just read the descriptions they make no sense, and it lags and is bad, idk man.
Good strategy game with some espionage and alliance mechanics. I recommend it if you like grand strategy games. Also become F2P is a big plus for me.
It's a fun game with potential for great depth! The first 24 hours this game was the only thing on my mind. That says something. It's still an unpolished diamond (still being in early access) but it is definitely a diamond.
There is just really not a point in playing this game right now. From limited content and low playerbase to clunky UI and constant lags/loading screens - for what is essentially a browser/phone game at it's core. There may still be hope in the future but not yet - even Early Access tags have their limits. The "no Pay-to-Win" part is what made me give it a shot but with no time limitations in place and the way scaling works the person who sleeps the least and spends the most time in the game will simply be better - no matter what "strategy" you try to use. There are XXX similar free browser/phone games that have existed for years and actually have some depth. Also, the fact the the Steam review score is misrepresented/brigated as more positive than it normally would be by the devs/artist/friends connected to the game is what pushed me to post my first ever Steam review.
I’m genuinely impressed by this game. The art style is creative and full of charm, and the gameplay is incredibly smooth and satisfying. From the moment you conquer your first colony, you’re hooked, driven to expand your empire and grow stronger. The developers have clearly put a ton of love into the details—everything from the lore to the characters and animations feels polished. It’s also so refreshing to see a strategy game that doesn’t rely on pay-to-win mechanics. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves strategy games—can’t wait to see what’s next!
Been playing this for a while now and there is something about it that keeps drawing me back in. Takes some getting into at first, but once you have unlocked the ability to start taking over towns it becomes a game that you get scared of putting down! The community is also lovely in this game. Nice chill vibes with people ready to help explain to newbies how to play the game and provide support. There is a lot of potential in this game and I would love to see more features to be added to this and see it grow. Would recommend for people who want to dip their toe in a more chilled and stylised RTS. I can promise that it is nothing like anything you have played previously. A good game to pick up for a few hours and keep coming back to.
It was such a thrill to enjoy the earlier release of this game—I’m hooked! Once I secured my first flag and conquered a colony, the gameplay truly came alive. That moment changed everything—I became completely immersed, driven to grow my empire and expand my conquests. The latest updates make it even easier to focus on what matters most: building a thriving, unstoppable empire. This game is a fantastic achievement, and I can’t wait to keep exploring and dominating. Highly recommended for anyone who loves strategy games!
Travian and Million Lords had a F2P baby and now everyone is a furry.
