I liked using the controller more than the keyboard for character movement but using the companion was def harder on the game pad, probably because I learned the companion controls on the keyboard and then switched to the game pad. I was able to get the hang of it by the time I was approaching the boss. The biggest room with the puzzle was sick. I also liked the health and feather pickups that would hover in and out of jump range. Giving a small challenge to the action rather than just a stale old health pickup. It was satisfying to time it correctly. The character controller was smooth and I enjoyed the fight scenes a lot. Jump animations had me tickled. Loved the wings. Smooth AF. The boss was sick. I was so hyped when the camera zoomed and the portal popped up. So sick lol. The graphics are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant along with the soundtrack. I am super into the particles with illumination. And for perspective on this, I played the whole thing on low graphics, anything else was too much to run. Still in love with it. The atmosphere was 10/10. Great work

Echo is not a great game. It has some mechanics and uses them satisfactorily. However, it is also free, and 20 minutes long. if it looks interesting enough for you to read reviews of it, just play it.
ok!!!
A nice short and sweet game. The gameplay felt smooth overall but I feel the melee combat doesn't serve a purpose as you can complete the game without using it. The puzzles felt nice to complete and the controls are introduced at a good pace. Overall a great game
Pretty fun game even tho i beat it in 20mins got to a point where i could figure out the puzzle and just jumped around the portals not bad for a EA game keep up the good work!
The reason I do not recommend this game is simple. The game crashes in the ending cutscene. You do not get to see the ending. The game has a decent story and the art is well done. It is straightforward, which is about what you would expect. The controls are not very responsive. The follower is also immortal and capable to dealing with almost all the enemies and the boss by itself. There is also one bridge involved in a puzzle you can just jump over so it can be easily skipped. All in all it is an ok game, but having no ending to the game is a bit of a letdown.
