ペナント勢です。　2026年7月16日現在での評価 前作を所持しており、今作もペナントで遊びたい！という人には、正直おすすめできないです。 同じ会社でパワプロのペナントがすごく進化していたのもあって、がっかり感が非常に強いです。 前作からの変更点としては、新規選手の追加、固有フォームの追加、現役ドラフト、おそらくこれだけです。 前作を所持しているなら、前作で遊ぶことをお勧めします

I've liked this game ever since it came out yesterday.

I have hundreds of hours in MLB Power Pros 07/08. I miss the franchise so much. I am hoping that this is a good sign from Konami. The game itself, this is exactly what I feel like is missing from MLB The Show in many ways. Pro Spirit in its current form is more reminiscent of MLB Power Pros 07 in the USA. Its all there and its also not there. Star Player is more like "MLB Life Mode". You play your games, on your off days you get to do some extra things like rest, hangout with friends/potential partners and be the best baseball player. If you are looking for something like success mode here it is not here. It is still incredibly fun and deep but that charm isnt there that Success Mode has. However, having players that have been drafted from hakkyu no kiseki and play their career in Star Player is really awesome! hakkyu no kiseki - reminds me of Dynasty mode in NCAA from EA. The main difference is hakkyu no kiseki has way more charm in it. There is a bit of randomness with the card system. I havent delved real deep into this mode yet but I could see myself diving deep into the mode itself to keep you playing, as well as trying new things with new files. Season mode is exactly what I would expect. However, it does feel more intimate with only having to juggle the "Top Team" and the "Farm Team" instead doing A > AA > AAA > MLB like in The Show. Again havent dived that deep into yet either however I do see myself playing this mode a lot. If you are a MLB Power Pros veteran expect more similar to 07 version rather than 08 here. As far as comparisons to MLB The Show. I find that the presentation is better here overall with the TV Broadcast style. The English Announcer is probably the weakest part of the game honestly. But the sound effects and graphics look amazing. Seeing the ripple of the wall when a player or the ball hit is very satisfying, seeing the footprints in the dirt is a nice touch as well, the sound design of the crowd, ball, bat, etc also hit the nail on the head. Playing Online, can be a rough experience. Most players I came across are in Japan. However, I wouldnt say it was a bad experience overall. Just a major gap in skill for the most part. There was some lag but not enough to deter from playing more matches. However, i dont see myself spending a lot of time here. Its not like you pick a team and play an exhibition match. You build a custom team within certain parameters and then take them online. You have fewer options here vs MLB The Show. So if this is aspect is what you were looking this much more focused to pro eSports than being able to play with/against friends or casually play against other players. even MLB the show has custom leagues where this does not. So online mode for Pro Spirit leaves a lot to be desired. However, my online experience is better with Pro Spirit than MLB The Show. hopefully we get more in the future. But if this is the only one we get for quite some time, this will keep you satisfied for years to come the same way fans kept NCAA 14 alive for many years even after the servers die someday.
