About

This is an open world 3D gunfight game based on the law of the jungle, which emphasizes the survival of the fittest. It is also a mission centered combat game based on experience leveling. It combines elements of role-playing, tactical strategy, and experience leveling.
1、 Background of the story:
In 2999, when the first alien mother ship tore apart the atmosphere, humans realized that this disaster had been brewing for many years. Those alien hackers invaded the human space station, releasing a millennium worm that paralyzed the intelligence and communication satellites controlled by the space station, causing communication on Earth to be completely paralyzed. Those unidentified flying objects lurking in low Earth orbit suddenly subducted collectively, like a meteor shower, crashing into major cities around the world. Their hulls are covered with bio metal shells, which release high-frequency pulses at the moment of impact, instantly paralyzing all electronic devices. The screen suddenly went out, the speeding cars collided like they lost control, and the hospital ventilators collectively shut down. The skyscrapers in Shanghai collapsed in silent shaking, and the glass curtain walls poured down like a waterfall. Not only did an alien army emerge from the belly of the mother ship, but countless alien creatures were also mixed in. They melt their bodies into weapons, and the concrete in front of them is Rice noodles.
In the context of such a large-scale attack, the only survivor and maintenance worker of the nuclear power plant, Yichun, continuously battles with extraterrestrial creatures through underground shelters, and finally discovers that the fatal weakness of extraterrestrial creatures is energy: especially extraterrestrial creatures rely on nuclear waste fuel for energy, prefer to survive around nuclear waste water tanks, steal leaked nuclear fuel for survival and continuous reproduction, causing a continuous gathering and explosion of extraterrestrial creatures in the ruins of the nuclear power plant. Therefore, survivor Yichun adopted the plan of cutting off the energy supply of extraterrestrial creatures as the best strike mode. We decisively adopted the dangerous plan of discharging nuclear wastewater from the nuclear wastewater tank. Therefore, the first main task is to shut down the leaking nuclear power plant waste water tank. Without the supply of renewable energy, the attack power of extraterrestrial mechanical creatures was halved, and finally all the mechanical creatures around the nuclear power plant were eliminated.
But the real crisis comes from within - some politicians collude with aliens to assist alien hackers in infiltrating the space station, and make dirty deals, signing humiliating and dirty agreements, attempting to become puppet rulers of Earth. One of the tasks is to search for this agreement and make it public.
Female hero - Yichun, she will infiltrate a terrifying hospital to rescue Doctor Blast [Bernaste] who was kidnapped by aliens, and obtain the anti radiation medicine - Nuclear Radiation Ning; She will launch a street battle to break into the alien freezer and rescue her boyfriend Aladdin, who was frozen by aliens for experimental research, and so on. Continuously challenging strong enemies to complete tasks, demonstrating heroic qualities to save the earth, and ultimately achieving the rise of humanity .....
2、 Plot design:

A physical sandbox game that allows players to repeatedly battle in revenge and collapse. By eliminating alien monsters and guards in real time, completing challenging mission goals, unlocking new levels, and combining a high degree of freedom destruction system with story narrative to advance the plot.
Core driving force
The main goals pursued by players are to rescue imprisoned doctors and scientists, liberate enslaved humans, seek revenge and eliminate alien invaders on Earth, and advance the plot. The driving force includes completing tasks to unlock new areas, collecting resources to upgrade equipment, and experiencing the growth story of hero Aladdin, immersing players in the tension of resistance and survival.
The gameplay loop is repeated by players: infiltrate/explore alien space stations (or spacecraft) → use physical sandbox mechanisms to destroy the environment or eliminate guards → complete mission objectives (such as rescuing scientists or destroying facilities) → unlock new levels or upgrade skills → explore higher difficulty areas again. Each cycle strengthens the player's strategic choices and combat skills.
Level 1: Close the protective cover of the nuclear power plant. Before the alien attack destroyed Earth, nuclear power plant engineer Izumi happened to be wearing protective clothing while inspecting the fuel pool of the fifth nuclear power unit, which was more than 500 meters underground. Although the sturdy underground nuclear protection wall avoided a powerful external nuclear attack, the internal nuclear power unit suffered minor damage and fuel leakage slowly occurred. Yichun escaped by chance and arrived on Earth. The surface of the Earth was already in ruins, a scene of the apocalypse. Yichun's mission is to continuously eliminate infiltrating alien monsters, find the nuclear power plant's protective cover switch, and complete the tasks of discharging nuclear wastewater and closing the protective cover;
Level 2: Rescuing doctors and scientists. Aliens have scattered and imprisoned human scientists in their different laboratories, excavated human civilization through continuous analysis, and further improved the technological strength of aliens with human progressiveness technology. Yichun's mission is to infiltrate the alien science laboratory, eliminate alien guards, and rescue scientists;
Level 3: Control the energy harvesting and refining base to rescue enslaved humans. Aliens imprison ordinary humans who have survived by chance in their different resource collection sites, serving as laborers to gather and extract energy for the aliens, and supplementing their daily needs by constantly plundering human resources. Yichun's mission is to infiltrate the resource collection base, eliminate alien guards, and rescue enslaved humans, with humans ultimately controlling various energy collection sites;
Level 4: Find the humiliating ball selling agreement and regain control of the Earth Control Center. Yichun's mission is to infiltrate the Earth Control Core Base, explore and find a ball selling agreement signed between a politician and aliens, eliminate alien guards, and regain control of the Earth Control Center;
Level 5: Drive the space shuttle in the hangar of the Earth Control Center, land on the human space station in space, defeat the alien hacker team, repair the communication satellite in a timely manner, and complete the full achievement to achieve the rise of humanity on Earth.

Reviews
The overall experience of the game felt pretty ordinary, plot is clumsy, modeling is rough, combat feels a bit off. But the worldview setting is really interesting, and I love her outfits.
Is this a game feature? The battle starts right away, and there's some kind of vague tutorial—maybe it's there, maybe not, it just flashes by too quickly to notice.
Update (changed to recommended): There is now a level select option to avoid crashes of no return, but the update erased my save files and progress. You have to start a new game to register a stage as completed, but the good news is that your weapons and upgrades earned in the first game carry over to the new game. This game throws a lot of different ideas together to make it exciting, but most of them just get in the way of the simple shooting, which is actually pretty decent. First of all, you can play in either first or third person, but the first person view feels better because the crosshair is always visible, while in third person you need to aim your weapon before it appears. The annoyance is that the game forces third-person view, so you need to switch each time you start a new stage. Although the focus is on shooting, there are also melee weapons if you prefer close combat, but they're very bad because you can't deal with small enemies efficiently. If you get close, you'll almost certainly take damage. Your health goes down incredibly fast, but the good news is that every enemy drops a medkit. If you die, you'll respawn at the last checkpoint or save point. One reason you might choose melee is to save your limited ammo, but another issue is that the ammo counter is completely broken. You can reload a weapon and see one bullet count, then pick up ammo from the ground and watch the number drop instead of increase. The same bug also happens after a normal reload or when switching between your two available firearms. Enemies are never visible in advance. Instead, they spawn out of thin air and appear right in front of you. This mechanic looks especially silly in tight spaces where you don't see anything, then take one step and suddenly a corridor is filled with enemies. Every defeated enemy adds experience that eventually leads to a level-up, giving you more health and a small defense boost, but that's the only benefit. It's best to ignore the system entirely. All of the loot comes from opening closets, chests, drawers, and other containers. Much of it is collected automatically, but some items have to be picked up manually by looking at them and pressing a button. Common loot includes gold, which has no purpose, different types of ammo, since each weapon uses its own ammo type, and two types of components used to upgrade your weapons. It's possible to fully upgrade a weapon very quickly and deal massive damage. You progress through the game by completing 18 stages in a linear order. They're fairly short and require you to complete a few objectives. There are waypoints to guide you, but you still need to check the objectives in a separate menu to understand what you're actually supposed to do. Defeating major enemies isn't much of a challenge because they appear directly in your path and you'll kill everything you encounter anyway, but some objectives require specific tasks that aren't immediately obvious. Completing a stage rewards you with even more pointless coins, but at least you earn an achievement. The stage assets and enemy variety are borrowed from freely available sources, so some locations feel very familiar. Each location serves as the setting for three stages, but the enemy placements, loot, and objectives change, so it isn't a complete copy and paste. The difference is the annoying and huge open world map with several stages, with waypoints all over the place, and enemies you need to kill that can be easily lost in the environment and force you to restart because you won’t find them. The enemy roster includes spiders, zombies, knights, skeletons, aliens, crabs, and more. They're divided into regular enemies that go down after a few bullets and elite enemies that act as bullet sponges. None of them show much intelligence. They simply walk straight toward you and often get stuck on objects or fail to walk through an open doorway. In the end, the game runs well, and the core gameplay is decent enough without any major performance issues. However, it's not worth the asking price because it relies on non original assets that were just thrown together. Also, there's a gamebreaking bug in one of the later stages that crashes the game each time you load the game, which means you'll have to start a new game to fix it. It might be worth considering at a very steep discount, but not at its current price when you can buy much better games for the same money.

A role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Although the game’s graphics look a bit dated, the gameplay combines strategy with a sense of exhilaration. Overall, it’s a pretty good game.
EagleRoad:WorldRise is an ambitious science-fiction action RPG that combines open-world exploration, survival mechanics, tactical combat, and character progression into a post-apocalyptic adventure. Developed and published by XuJie, the game envisions a bleak future in which Earth has been brought to the brink of extinction after a devastating alien invasion. Instead of focusing solely on nonstop firefights, it attempts to create a broader experience by weaving together exploration, mission-based storytelling, resource gathering, and RPG progression. The result is a title that aims to deliver a large-scale adventure despite being developed by an independent studio, offering players an expansive world filled with dangers, mysteries, and opportunities for growth. The story unfolds in the year 2999, when humanity's technological superiority is shattered by an extraterrestrial civilization capable of crippling Earth's defenses through cyber warfare and advanced biological technology. Communications collapse after orbital systems are compromised, while bio-metallic alien vessels strike major cities and unleash electromagnetic pulses that destroy modern infrastructure. Players assume the role of Yichun, an ordinary nuclear power plant maintenance worker who survives the initial catastrophe and eventually discovers a crucial weakness in the alien lifeforms. This premise gives the campaign a strong narrative foundation, transforming the protagonist from a simple survivor into someone who may hold the key to humanity's future. The game's lore goes beyond a standard alien invasion by introducing scientific concepts that tie directly into both the story and gameplay. Exploration is one of the game's defining features. Players are encouraged to venture across ruined landscapes, abandoned facilities, and hostile territories in search of resources, hidden secrets, and valuable information about the invaders. The open-world design rewards curiosity, allowing optional discoveries to contribute to both character development and a deeper understanding of the world's collapse. Every journey into dangerous areas feels purposeful, as exploration frequently leads to new equipment, experience, or missions that strengthen the player's chances of survival. Combat blends third-person shooting with tactical decision-making and RPG progression. Rather than relying entirely on fast reflexes, players must choose their equipment carefully, make effective use of positioning, and adapt their strategies to different enemy encounters. Defeating enemies grants experience that improves the protagonist's abilities, creating a satisfying progression system that makes each mission feel meaningful. As new skills and stronger equipment become available, players gradually evolve into a capable fighter who can challenge increasingly dangerous alien threats. This steady sense of advancement helps maintain engagement throughout the adventure while encouraging players to experiment with different approaches to combat. The survival aspects further enrich the overall experience by emphasizing resource management and preparation. Players must secure supplies, complete objectives, and carefully manage their progression while navigating a world where civilization has almost completely collapsed. The game's design encourages thoughtful planning rather than reckless action, making every successful encounter feel earned. These mechanics work well alongside the RPG systems, reinforcing the idea that survival depends on intelligence and adaptability as much as combat skill. Visually, EagleRoad:WorldRise presents a convincing picture of a devastated future. Destroyed cities, abandoned industrial complexes, and alien technology scattered across the landscape establish a world that has been fundamentally transformed by invasion and disaster. Although the presentation reflects the limitations of an indie production, the environmental variety and science-fiction aesthetic successfully create an atmosphere of isolation and danger. The contrast between remnants of human civilization and the advanced extraterrestrial presence helps strengthen the game's identity and supports its overarching narrative. One of the game's most appealing qualities is its willingness to combine several genres into a cohesive experience. Open-world exploration, story-driven missions, tactical combat, survival mechanics, and RPG progression all contribute to gameplay, giving players multiple ways to engage with the world. Rather than feeling like a straightforward shooter, the game encourages exploration, experimentation, and long-term character growth. Its unique explanation of the aliens' biology and dependence on nuclear energy also adds originality to the setting, making the conflict feel more grounded within its fictional universe. Overall, EagleRoad:WorldRise is an ambitious independent project that strives to deliver a rich science-fiction adventure with a blend of action, exploration, survival, and role-playing systems. While it may not possess the production values of major blockbuster releases, its expansive scope, intriguing world-building, and layered gameplay mechanics make it an interesting option for players who enjoy post-apocalyptic action RPGs. Those looking for an experience that rewards exploration, strategic combat, and gradual character progression will likely appreciate the game's design philosophy and its effort to create a compelling vision of humanity's struggle against an overwhelming alien threat. Rating: 7/10
