Frenetic, colorful, buckets of fun. It's air hockey by way of Smash Bros, soccer by way of Towerfall Ascension. Absolute must-play.
A great homage to arcade classics! A very fun take on air hockey with modernized design and exciting mechanics! The art is stylish, the music is bopping! Please give this game a go if you're looking for a game to play with some friends! Easy to pick up but filled to the brim with depth. It's fast-paced, chaotic at times, but always fun!!!
I'm a sucker for pixel art games with this much color. I love this game in the arcade machine format and potentially love it even more now with controllers and friends on a sofa. This is just an awesome party game. Some of the other big pluses for me: - team strategy is actually quite deep, especially with slightly experienced players - even if someone has never played, you still feel effective on your team - learning this one is fast and satisfying - THE COLORS - I love the attention to detail in the character design (Face Team or Da Punx for me) - The fling mechanic feels both aggressive and useful, the blast feels the same- simple to learn, difficult to master. - legendary 4 player couch battles Some negatives (i hope there will be more to this game later on) - Playing alone is fun when it's 1v2cpus but a bit too easy otherwise- (maybe some cpu difficulty settings) - The interesting characters and the amazing movement dynamics are begging for some kind of challenge, puzzle or adventure modes - i think i just want to explore the movement dynamics and battling TLDR: Play this colorful game with your friends and maybe consider some sort of party/drinking challenge
Dybreaker provides the same fast paced game play that remind me of classics like super smash. We would have spent a lot of time playing Dybreaker on the couch in College for sure. The visuals are also just super unique and its cool how the colors on the level progress as one team begins to win a stage. Definitely best played with a controller. CPU plays were surprisingly good and satisfying to play against / with -- had fun playing a couple rounds against the CPU. Looking forward to playing with friends.
Vibrant art, fluid controls and reeeeally headboppy tunes. Worth the $5, pick it up :p
I've played a lot of Dyebreaker in the arcade and it's always a hilarious slugfest, and the Steam version is even better with AI opponents, remote play, analog controller support and more! Frenetic local multiplayer action and thrilling come-from-behind victories await! Highly suggested addition to your local multiplayer playlist!
Super slick air hockey that's fun to play with your friends. The animations are so beautiful and controls feel really responsive.
Really fun little game with great visual style. The tiny characters can be a bit hard to track on a small screen, but otherwise it is visually easy to parse the action, despite how much can end up on screen. On the low end of playing, it's a lot of fun in groups with friends. Can only imagine how crazy it gets with real sickos, though. It has an immense skill ceiling, but manageable floor. At only $5, you should buy it.
art is iconic. music is fire. game play is fantastically chaotic!
An absolute blast to play! It's exciting and energetic even just playing solo against the CPUs, but the competitive chaos against friends is where it really shines. It's a perfect arcade party game. The style is fun and unique, and the music slaps. Highly recommend!!
