Fill the shoes of Masters Mason-Northwood a ‘genius scientist’ who, after a failed assassination attempt, is left wandering in the dark, reading books, finding notes and listening to audio logs about the North Wood and himself, while also trying to escape his own barren lab.

I used to aid in testing this game, and unfortunately it seems it didn't really blossom beyond the early alpha stage version that I received. The textures improved *slightly*, the voice acting is of course done by in-house members of the team, who were unfortunately reeled in for the "experience" (Not paid, like myself, but considering they lacked a budget at all it was understandable), and the mechanics are sloppy despite how imaginative they were advertised to be. This lacks fundamentals, but has a good idea and expansive lore - although, unfortunately even that falls short as it is confusing to those who would not understand higher concepts in science fiction. It's convoluted, broken in some cases (the freezing of the player as the voice over goes on, which was tedious to sit through), and several aspects are left unfinished. It overall was a very unfinished game by my observation, and looked abandoned - as though the developer gave up, which he more than likely did. I am not a fan of the developer himself, either, as he too reeled me in as a friend and ended up being less than a favorable person. He was not only a creep, but a transphobic ass and that's being rather kind. The game had promise and I genuinely looked forward to it, and regardless of the developer's behaviour would have continued to look forward to it...if it weren't advertised as finished when it very obviously isn't. I could care less what the developer is like: it was a bad game, plain and simple, and shot too high when the fundamentals weren't in place for it to become what it was supposed to be. Which...is entirely unclear, even for a noob to see.
Nice short game , made but a small indie team of just over 3 people . Excellent for first full game they have made. The writing is solid and text in collectable books is interesting. A bit rough around the edges in sound quality and some assets look out of scale, but does not distract too much from the story Take this game as an interactive short story by a fist time dev team on a very limited if non existant budget and its a very good effort , looking forward to their next release!
