A clear port of a mobile title (as it mentions touch screens in the instructions) that does NOT translate well to PC in its current state. WASD and Space handle the dodging and jumping, but they feel unresponsive much of the time, and after making turns a couple of times, the chances of you completely offsetting the rail and travelling outside the walls are HUGE. An interesting concept, but needs some HEAVY work on bug fixes and mechanical refinement before I can recommend.
Dungeon Raider is not to be confused with an RPG or dungeon crawling game with any depth or interest for gamers. It's a very simple, almost mobile-app like endless runner/QTE hybrid. You run down a tunnel endlessly and must move left, right, jump and crouch to avoid obstacles. Sometimes you face an enemy you must bash a few times, pretending once more this is the RPG that it really isn't... it's an incredibly shallow, valueless experience for gamers. But there's deeper, more sinister problems here. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak player count was only ONE player. That's right, only one person ever played this at a time. When I played this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak player count for the game. OUCH. The only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. The game contains stock/store assets/libraries/packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. In some cases this breaches the license agreement the developer signed for the use of those assets. Worse, some of the assets are licensed under a NON-COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT, but the developer is violating those licenses FOR PROFIT. This is not just a contractual/license breach, in many jurisdictions this is a breach of criminal law. Claiming credit for the work of others as well as breaching software licenses and breaking the law is highly unethical. Dungeon Raider is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.

This game is so much fun. I like the art of the enemies. They look kinda scary and I enjoy killing them. I will definitely play it some more, I want to get the Axe Surprise!
