its just bad.
the original game was great, and this edition of it was even more cool due to the new customization options. but these greedy devs re-release the product over and over again, making the previous revisions unplayable. i was buying dd 3 times already. on ps3 i had the option to play offline which is totally fine with me, but here is just a dead weight in the library. next time i won't pay money and just do the right thing using the internet etc.

funny
RIP Eternity, I'll love this game forever and remember all the memories it brought my 8 year old self with my cousins.

No longer works.

No
It seems like a decent game, but unfortunately, it is just dungeon defender, now. (for Eternity) This game does not seem to use any kind of peer-to-peer networking like Dungeon Defenders did, and so matchmaking of any kind, as well as leaderboards, are gone, this game is no longer multiplayer. If you do not care about this, the game seems to work fine in offline mode. Let this game stand as an example of how much of a ill advised decision online only is for a niche IP, and may it give you something to consider before committing too hard into dungeon defenders 2, especially since all games after dungeon defenders 2 are met with mixed reviews, and they are incurring monthly costs as a result of being online only.... and it only has 200 more players than dungeon defenders as of writing.....
