the geometry dash segment is broken and there's a chance you die to the falls. i like buggy games but this bug needs to be fixed because I just don't see a reason to beat it in quackcore mode when you have a chance of unfairly dying at the end. maybe get some more playtesters next time
Duck Simulator 2 is the kind of indie game that looks completely ridiculous on the surface but slowly reveals itself to be far more creative and entertaining than expected. What initially appears to be a simple meme project about clicking on ducks quickly evolves into a bizarre genre-hopping adventure packed with self-aware humor, chaotic storytelling, and constant gameplay changes. Instead of sticking to a single mechanic or formula, the game continuously reinvents itself, turning what could have been a forgettable joke into an unexpectedly memorable experience filled with absurd creativity. The premise is intentionally ridiculous from the beginning. Players start inside what seems to be a basic duck-clicking simulator where the entire goal appears to revolve around interacting with a duck endlessly. However, the situation quickly spirals out of control when an evil rubber duck corrupts the game itself, forcing the in-universe developer to repeatedly rebuild the project using entirely different gameplay styles. This setup becomes the core of the experience, allowing the game to constantly surprise players by shifting genres and mechanics without warning. One of the strongest aspects of Duck Simulator 2 is its unpredictability. The game rarely allows players to settle into a comfortable routine because it is always introducing something new. One moment players may be navigating platforming challenges, while the next they are thrown into arcade shooting segments, puzzle sections, or bizarre first-person sequences. These constant transitions keep the gameplay fresh and make the experience feel far larger and more varied than its premise initially suggests. Even though many of the gameplay mechanics are simple, the variety prevents the game from becoming repetitive. The humor is heavily based on self-awareness and internet-style absurdity. The game constantly breaks the fourth wall, jokes about game development, and treats its own collapsing structure as part of the comedy. The developer character directly interacts with players while desperately trying to contain the chaos caused by the corrupted duck, creating a strange but entertaining narrative built around the idea of a game completely falling apart in real time. This meta approach gives Duck Simulator 2 a surprisingly strong personality because it feels intentionally crafted rather than randomly thrown together. What makes the game more impressive than expected is that many of its gameplay segments are actually enjoyable beyond the jokes. The platforming sections feel responsive enough to remain entertaining, shooting mechanics are satisfying in short bursts, and puzzle sequences occasionally require genuine problem-solving. While no individual mechanic becomes especially deep, the game never spends too long on one idea before introducing something new. This pacing helps maintain momentum and keeps curiosity driving the player forward. The visual presentation embraces chaos in a way that perfectly matches the game’s tone. Different gameplay sections use different graphical styles, ranging from retro pixel art to simplistic 3D environments and intentionally broken visual effects. The constantly shifting presentation reinforces the feeling that players are trapped inside a malfunctioning game that is being rebuilt piece by piece as it collapses. Despite the intentionally inconsistent visuals, the game still manages to create a recognizable identity through its bizarre humor and exaggerated style. Sound design also plays a major role in making the experience memorable. The soundtrack changes depending on the genre being parodied, while absurd sound effects and exaggerated voice clips constantly reinforce the game’s comedic atmosphere. The duck itself becomes strangely iconic due to the relentless commitment to ridiculous audio design. Even moments that are intentionally annoying feel calculated to support the game’s chaotic personality. Another surprising element is the game’s occasional shift into darker and more surreal territory. While most of the experience is comedic, there are moments where the atmosphere suddenly becomes unsettling or psychologically strange. Certain sections briefly lean into horror-inspired imagery and distorted environments, creating an unexpected contrast against the otherwise goofy tone. These tonal shifts make the game feel far more creative than a standard parody title because players are never entirely sure what direction the experience will take next. The game also includes additional content such as secrets, achievements, hidden endings, and a remastered version of the original Duck Simulator. These extras help increase replay value and encourage players to explore beyond the main story. Hidden jokes and optional content reward curiosity, which fits perfectly with the unpredictable nature of the overall experience. However, Duck Simulator 2 is definitely not a game designed for everyone. Its humor is intentionally chaotic and heavily dependent on random internet-style comedy, which may feel exhausting for players who prefer more structured storytelling. The constant genre switching can occasionally make the experience feel disjointed, and some gameplay sections are noticeably more polished than others. Since the game introduces so many ideas in rapid succession, certain mechanics feel underdeveloped before the experience moves on to the next joke or gameplay concept. Even with these flaws, Duck Simulator 2 succeeds because it fully embraces its absurd premise without hesitation. It never attempts to present itself as a serious narrative adventure or technically advanced experience. Instead, it focuses entirely on creativity, unpredictability, and entertaining players through nonstop experimentation. That willingness to constantly surprise the player is what ultimately makes the game stand out. For players who enjoy experimental indie projects, surreal humor, and games willing to completely ignore conventional structure, Duck Simulator 2 delivers a surprisingly inventive experience filled with bizarre ideas and memorable moments. Beneath the ridiculous duck-themed premise lies a genuinely creative indie game that understands exactly what it wants to be and confidently commits to the chaos from beginning to end. Rating: 8/10

Best game ever, trust me
i was decently enjoying this game simple as it may be until the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ final geometry dash-based fight. like maybe it's a skill issue but it was legitimately so difficult and felt borderline broken, i was unable to complete it past the first few jumps which is crazy because the entire game up to that point had been super easy. duck simulator 2... you've failed me......
This is a very simple game. It is a clicker with a little twist, for me, it was extremely charming. I can not find a reason to hate this game except for the boss fight at the end being extremely hard for no reason (I hate the flappy bird part) but other than that the game is really cool. I wish there were more games like this and I cant wait to see more games from the creator. I wish there was more to do. 9/10, Charming, short, and fun experience even if your trying to 100%
Quack Does This Game Contain Ducks? Nah
AMAZING GAME! 10/10 GAME! Best thing I have ever played for a YouTube video and dramatically increased my quality of life. Must play, no debate. HOWEVER... I couldn't finish it, the geometry dash boss fight was impossible. I genuinely would 100% this game if I could. The story, visual quality, music and sound effects are perfect. If you are the type of person who won't play games that you can't finish then here's my video. At least witness its greatness, you won't regret it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hIUHqzIEtQ If the Devs see this, PLEASE DO ONE MORE UPDATE, I BEG OF YOU!!!!!
The pizza achievement is bugged, despite collecting all the pizzas in one run without dying after resetting the game, it still doesn't work. Last section of the game is extremely hard because the developer can't playtest. Still an ok game.
