Stylish indie top down racer + life sim with a great sense of humor.
This is hot hot hot hot hot I really feel like the dryft city Kyng now fr
Amazing artwork and music. Fun gameplay, well written dialog. It's a huge game with heaps of content and you could definitely spend hours playing this. The game also has a great vibe where you can just enjoy exploring the world, looking at all the art and funny billboards and advertisements, and enjoy listening to the music. It's a really well-designed freeroam racing game.
an absolute masterpiece of an indie i just finished the storyline and all i keep saying to myself is how much i simply want MORE!! this feverdream of a game is filled to the brim with raw, unfiltered creativity, dozens of secrets waiting to be found, and a world that i would love to dive into further someday. def shouldnt be as niche as it is because i can totally see this game having a passionate community Unfortunately I cant play some story challenges after doing them, making it impossible to get all achievements without wiping my save... 10/10: Im so glad I picked up a key at PAX, i wish i got the t-shirt too
I would absolutely recommend this if the controls worked. The developers need to take the time to implement proper controller support or this game will remain nearly unplayable. If you can fight the controls to the point you actually start winning this is a cool game with a lot of great elements that are fairly unique. It just needs polish...and controller support. They give 2 options for controls but they stay the same uncontrollable mess even if you select the alternate control scheme. Nothing changes. Keyboard & Mouse with a top down racer doesn't feel right at all. Maybe in 1998 but we've had functional controllers on PC for quite a while and it would be nice if a developer could just get the controls right. I can't even tell you how many time a good game has been ruined by bad controls. If it was early access I could understand and still give it a positive review but in this case you put up all that effort and you basically went into the race with bald tires.
I had high hopes for it, but there is a reason it has so few reviews...
Casual lite RPG with driving and fetch quests, accompanied by corporate satire. Charm carries it far, ultimately not my cup of tea, but I can see people enjoying this, hence the upvote. Although I would recommend buying it on sale.
