[h2]Drunken Nuke’em[/h2] [h1]Discount Dead by Daylight[/h1] Before I start saying anything, I need to come clean on something. I didn’t play this game before writing a review for it. Well, it’s not my fault since the game literally has 0 active players most of the time and since it’s purely a multiplayer game, I can’t do anything unless players exist. To make matters worse, none of my friends own this game. Anyways, as mentioned in the title of this segment, this game’s concept is eerily similar to Dead by Daylight. But DBD chose a horror theme while this game went with a goofy approach. In short, it’s basically Hello Neighbor visually and DBD Gameplay-wise. [h1]About This Game [/h1] [h2]Storyline [/h2] The storyline is pretty dumb if you ask me. But it really adds to the humor factor of the game. Plus it’s a multiplayer-only game, a full-fledged detailed storyline isn’t really required. And yes, I got to know the storyline from the game’s store page. It goes something like this: [code]Basically, there are two groups (Well, the “Killer” is an individual but let’s consider him a group for explanation sake): The drunk teens and the Hunter. The latter is pretty annoyed at the racket these teens are making and hence decides to take matters into his own hands. He aims to end the partying one way or the other, even if it forces him to get his hands bloody. On the other hand, these drunks are fighting for their life. Their main aim is to escape but the catch is that only one or two of them can get away. Can you actually trust anyone or is everyone bad?[/code] Yeah yeah, I apologize for my poor story-telling abilities. But I hope you got a gist of the game’s plot. Pretty simple yet it gives the whole meaning. I sound like a motivational speaker right now. Let’s just move on to the next segment. [h2]Gameplay[/h2] Yes, I haven’t played the game. But this doesn’t mean that I don’t know at least a few mechanics involved in the game. I’ll try to explain everything I know about this game that I obtained through uhhhh…research…..yes, research! The core gameplay is very similar to that of the game I mentioned way too many times, DBD. Here are some of the mechanics I am aware of: [olist] [*]The drunks play in a Third-Person perspective so that they get a bigger FoV while the Hunter has to play the game in a First-Person perspective. [*]The drunks’ main goal is to find the car key (I think) and escape to another place where they can continue partying. The twist here is that only one or two of the drunks can escape. This means that there would be a lot of betrayals. [*] Traps, consumables, and items can be found around the map which can be used by the drunkards against the hunter or their fellow drunkards. [*] The Hunter’s main role is to capture the drunkards and throw them into a torture device that resembles an Iron Maiden which eventually kills them. I think even the Hunter has access to some traps. [/olist] These are all the game mechanics I know. The overall gameplay seems pretty decent. Indie developers are becoming better and better! [h2] Visuals and Sound[/h2] The game’s visuals are very cartoony. They remind me of Hello Neighbor (Like ThunderBolt019’s review mentioned). I also love the comical effects they added, you know? The visual representation of sounds like BANG!, SMASH! Etc. Now onto the aural aspect of the game. The main menu music suits the game’s silly gameplay. I don’t know how the in-game SFX sounds. Man, I wish the game was actually alive. :( [h1]Pros[/h1] [list] [*] Similar concept to Dead By Daylight but with a twist. [*] I love the cartoony art style with funny animations. [*] You can play as different drunks who are completely unique so that they won’t be similar to skins. [*] I love the twist they added where only one or two drunks can escape. This adds a lot more competition and makes you see everyone as enemies. [/list] [h1]Cons[/h1] [list] [*] There’s only one Hunter you can play as. It would be cooler if they added more Hunters with unique abilities like DBD. [*] If I am right, the game has only one map. I am sure they’re planning on adding more content to the game when it’s outside Early Access. [*] The game is very dead. [/list] [h1]Conclusion[/h1] I regret not being able to play this game. At least one match would help. Anyways, this game isn’t worth buying right now since it has zero players playing it. I am sure it’d be worth purchasing if it gets a growing player base. Muy buen juego para jugar con amigos, y echarte unas risas, es un estilo Dead by daylight, pero con temática mas de humor

Juego muy divertido estilo DBD pero con muchas más risas te apetecen unas cervezas y una buena borrachera con tus amiguis?Éste es tu juego! no lo dudes!

Drunken Nukeem is a multiplayer game with Hello Neighbor graphics and dbd gameplay. It doesn't have exactly the same features of dbd but It's based on the same idea, 4 survivors, 1 killer, the major difference is that the survivors don't have to help each other if they don't want to, they are really enemies because just 1 player can escape. It's less serious than dbd, It's way more comical. The gameplay is good, there are many original ideas like traps for survivors or beer than you vomit to the other players. I have bought it through kickstarter, and obviously right now can only be played with friends most of the time because there are no active players, but with more development we could have an active community.

Juego sumamente divertido y gracioso, nos lo hemos pasado genial jugando. El poder poner trampas ha los demás mientras escapas del casero es lo mejor. Muchas risas.

Es un juego divertidisimo para jugarlo con amig@s y echar unas risas !

Es como DBD pero con su sentido de humor que lo hace más divertido además de que los cuatro supervivientes deben competir entre ellos ya que solo pueden escapar dos de ellos, lo que le da más interés al juego y puedes emparejarte con otro durante la partida.
