Drone Simulator VR

However, it has the usual problems of a Quest port: the visuals could be better for PCVR. So I bought the Meta Quest store version and played it before playing this game. The only differences I noticed were the improved resolution and the improved lighting / shadows. It also has limited content. There are only 3 maps and honestly they're pretty small. The good news is that each map does have 4 time trials and the time trials are fun and challenging, especially if you want to finish atop the leader-board. The drone race courses make me wish this game had online multiplayer racing pvp. You get coins and take photos with your done to unlock the other maps. You can fly in first person or third person (by looking at a camera tablet you hold). The flight physics are excellent. It's easily the best part of the experience. You can choose between 3 different flight controls, but you cannot customize then. I would have liked either bigger maps or more maps or better yet, both. I also think the textures on the map could have been higher resolution. It looks good for a Quest port, but it's not as good as they could be. At least I was getting a steady 90 fps. Warning: you do need at least a small room-scale to be able to reach all the buttons around you for the different options. A decent Drone flight simulator. Either flight with a tablet in hand, or by first person. Only one drone model but 3 different speed settings for easily learning flying a drone. Additional 3 different presets controls -sadly can't be edited. 3 Different maps with 4 parcours and mini games. The drone though has very strong stabilizers, the moment you release the control stick it stands still immediately which makes me wish to have more than this model. More drone models with different behavior would be great. To have a fix camera in first person mode would make flying a FPV drone more immersive, having 360° visual makes everything too easy,

I got Drone Simulator to practice flying for drone videography. Definitely a super helpful game for that, but I wasn't expecting to end up having so much fun :) I really like exploring and finding the photo spots, such a cool and unexpected little detail considering this is more of an educational game

I absolutely loved the intuitive controls and completing all the tasks! Some of the coins can be a bit frustrating to obtain but that's also kind of the fun of it! While I recommend what's already in the game (assigned pictures, coins, and time trials) I would love to eventually see more locations and fully animated characters walking around with a free roam photography mode. This team did a fantastic job!

Sehr gut umgesetzt, gute Steuerung. Nur der Umfang ist ein bisschen wenig. Ein paar mehr Karten und andere Drohnen wäre gut.

Wäre toll wenn Mode 2 funktionieren würde. Kein hoch und runter möglich. Auch das verstellen der Kamera tut nicht. Schade eigentlich. Wäre bestimmt ganz nett das Game. 31.10.25 Update Das Mode2 Problem wurde gefixt. Kommt mit dem nächsten Update, dank Lenny. Super Kontakt. Die Kameraverstellung funktioniert bei den Valve Controllern über die "Greif" Funktion. Hatte ich nicht gleich gefunden. Mein Fehler.

Feels like real flying! Great physics, smooth controls, very immersive.

Really good for practicing and also just fun in general! The controls are on point imo. Highly recommend
