This is one of those games where the mouse doesn't work in full screen. Four hours after I asked a question about whether there was a way to get the mouse to work, it's still the top message on the forum and hasn't been answered. So, don't expect a lot of help with this or other issues on the forum. As far as I can tell, the game only plays in full screen, so if you have an issue with your mouse not showing in full screen with some games, there isn't a way to play it in windowed mode as far as I can tell.
it is a good game
This is absolutely the best tech automation game ever made, and it's not close. It doesn't look very good, but the design is immaculate. Played the new pretty one of these games that just came out & it just made me want to play more Drill Down.

Such a hidden gem. It has the commonly used automated product-production formula (simple --> painfully complex), but in its own unique way by spreading out resources (and their amounts) across floors/layers and sometimes mixing them closely so you have to pay attention to where you put your machines if you'd rather not include a certain resource in the production pipeline. Few notes: - There's no hand-holding after a basic tutorial (you have to figure stuff out...but it's the good kind of figuring out). - Building isn't the most straightforward (7/10), I've played worse. - The sound effects for destroying buildings are way too loud, especially the 'selection tear down'. (You can turn off all sound effects but then you won't hear any other ones.) All-in-all, I think you'll like it if you enjoy factory logistics and their results - and watching items move on conveyor belts. :)
