This game was a genuine nightmare to sit through- As much as I wanted to enjoy it because I am an avid fan of Trolls and so have the most important people in my life have been, through start to finish of the story it feels like a slap to the face. Not only that, this game has such flippant controls. I spent half of my game trying to figure out where I even was on the camera, especially during the chase scenes, they are slow and tedious. The rhythm games were okay, but if I was fine with Barb, why is she even fighting with me to the begin with? I remember when I met her stand in Vibe City, I just sighed deeply and wondered why I even still had this game open. The lack of directions this game gives you when there's no big sparkly arrow is an egregious abuse of the large, engaging environment Trolls actually is. I have never met a game that completely contradicts the point of its own original source as harshly as this does in my life- The very end of the game nulls the entire point of Trolls: World Tour and it really rubs me wrongly that we're supposed to be fine with Barb after all that she did, yet villainize a character who, in his debut, was trying to capture Poppy and Branch just so he could keep his music. Chaz isn't some large malicious monster, he was fighting for himself just like Hickory & Dickory were, or the K-POP trolls, or the Reggaeton trolls. I could go on. I really hate his characterization in this game and I felt BAD for even finishing this game and breaking his instrument. This was not a fun or satisfying experience and I felt more and more like I was taken out of the Trolls universe the more I got further into the story. It makes me wonder who the lead writers were. I would not recommend this game to anybody. I wanted to enjoy it, but I just can't.

My 5 year old daughter adores this. Amazing for kids but buy on heavy discount.

ive only finished world 1 so far but this is on par for you average kids game (platformer collect-a-thon with a handful of minor bugs) if you're into trolls though i'd really recommend this! the world is very cute and well done, there's a lot to explore and lots of customization :) (the dlc skins are really really cute) i haven't gotten stuck or hit anything game breaking yet and the platforming can be relatively challenging at times so i think it has a pretty good balance! definitely more substantial for a kids game since a lot coming out recently have been 2-4 hour completions.

do not play this game. if you do please use a controller. this game is a console port and it is not made with K&M. also if you can help it, dont play this game. even if your daughter begs you. even she told me "dad this game is boring"

DreamWorks Trolls Remix Rescue is an 3D jump and run platformer with music sections mixed in between. Sadly this game is good meant but kinda bad made situation: Pros: + style and Assets feels good like Trolls + 5-6 hours long + 4 worlds with 3 levels + story is alright + graphics are ok + World 1 lvl 3 waterfall map, World 2 and World 4 lvl 1 are pretty soild level design and fun to play + every world have its own enemies which is a good thing + the music is alright (also music sections soundtracks are ok, world 3 music section is the best one) + scrapbook looks great and the main menu is neat looking + platforming is on the easy side but ok + technical side game runs smooth no problems Cons: - the thing that bothers me the most are the lack of sound effects in the worlds/bosses and more, the game feels way to quiet thought the playthough - game feels rough at times kinda feels like it was rushed - the last world have big devs errors like you can get out of bounds easy or you can see the gaming background its kinda odd - the lighting needs work at some worlds - you dont see any collectiables which you are missing in each world no tracker like in most 3D platformer, thats a reason why its not really fun to 100% it - World 3 kinda feels a little bit boring - swinging poles sucks in this game complety odd an unfinished sometimes it even dont work well - climbing and wall jumping can sometimes seem a bit strange in the game - using bark music boss again for world 3 and 4 is boring - cutscenes can look ok at times but most of it its a little to stiff - in each world is one musical section almost all of them plays crappy except for world 3 (Rayman Legends did such things a lot better) - soundtrack should be more only one soundtrack in each world gets respective fast (every single map should had their own because also every map have a little different theme to it which kills it a little because of only one soundtrack per world) Sure i had some fun with it but its also ruined a few times with its unfinished feel to it, if you really like different 3D-platformers and seach for a new one then this could be a possiblity to try but better wait for a 90% sale and don't expect a very good game.
