Could be good with some work, but it's buggy and some control issues make this difficult, and sometimes impossible, to play and enjoy. I quit playing when an item I needed passed through a wall and became unobtainable, which I didn't realize until after saving. I had a hard time even getting the game to start initially because a controller is required and it wouldn't detect mine for some reason. Eventually, after restarting the game several times and unplugging and re-plugging the controller something happened and it worked. Controls can be annoying in that sometimes you need to quickly grapple something and it just won't register for you to interact with. It's a free game so I guess I understand why the small development team wouldn't want to spend a ton of time ironing out bugs. But you would think after putting in the time and work to build a promising game they'd want to take a little time to smooth it out. But they didn't bother, and I can't recommend the game even if it's free.
I really like the part between the splash screen and the end credits ;) Okay more seriously though, it's a free game with cool puzzles and collectibles that add replayability. That's already a good reason to play. The fact that it's made by a bunch of students, from scratch, is an even better reason to play because visibility and reviews help them :D

A great experience. It is apparent that those who made this game have a great appreciation for video games as an artistic medium. Fun game play, pretty environments, and just enough nostalgia to kindle memories of childhood. Also, kicking things with a big ol' boot. Recommended!
The game is very fun and well made for a student game done in 14 weeks remotely! It's a good balance between small challenges and just relaxing gameplay. Not to sound edgy or anything, but the Nigthmare Wing's my favorite x) Fun, colorfull, relaxing, nice ambiance, collectathon game: good job guys!
But Jeremy betrayed us X)
Super fun & challenging puzzle-platformer, love the level design and general layout of the game. Definitely satisfying to figure out certain rooms. Excited to finish this game, and would love to see more from this team! Can’t beat the price either.
Phenomenal platformer! Would absolutely have paid money for this level of quality!
For a free game this is actually quite well made, you can clearly see that they put a lot of effort into it. The maps are quite big and the level design is nice, but I navigated through the levels with ease. The only two cons for me are the bugged spiders' AI and animations and the ending is a bit underwhelming and confusing.
I'm giving it a thumbs up, even though I find the game completely unplayable. It's a free game, made by students, with a good bit of charm, a pleasant atmosphere, and looks like it would be a fun way to spend some time... if I could just reverse the camera movement. If you play with a non-inverted camera, you'll probably have fun, but if you mentally use an inverted camera, you will be VERY frustrated. I'm hoping they add the feature, so I can finish checking it out.
