Dreams of Amelia is a game that feels fairly well made from a visual and voice acting standpoint. It looks good enough, and the voices are convincing, although I did notice fewer dialogue animations compared to what was shown in the trailer. The main issue right now is the content. The story did not feel particularly interesting to me, and it does not give much motivation to keep going. Once you finish the first chapter and spend ten minutes messing around in sandbox mode, you already get the feeling that you have seen almost everything the game currently has to offer. For now, it does not look especially promising, but there is potential here, as long as it is used properly. I will come back with a final review once the game is completed, assuming it ever is.

Decent game but no squirting, also does not have the ability to insert the toys deeper. Would also like to see more customization options of the vaginal area. (ex. fatter lips and hanging clit)

I went into Dreams of Amelia expecting at least something a bit engaging, but it didn’t take long before I realized this just wasn’t it. The FIRST thing that hit me was the story mode—and not in a good way. It’s honestly laughable. It tries to set up something interesting, but it’s so dull that I felt bored almost immediately when reading it, like within the first ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chapter. There’s just nothing there that makes you want to keep going and learn more about Amelia. I don't know to me it was like trying to be super edgy. What made it even worse is how the dialogue is handled. Having to hold down a button or click just to push through text sounds like a small thing, but it gets annoying fast. Instead of flowing naturally, it turns every reading of the text box into a chore. When your game already leans on its story, making reading the story just feel ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tedious. To be fair, the game doesn’t look terrible. Visually, it’s decent enough, and the voice work is actually not bad—it sounds convincing for the most part. But even there, it feels like something’s missing. There’s less animation and liveliness in scenes than you’d expect, especially compared to how it presents itself on Steam. The bigger issue is content—or the lack of it. Once you get through the very short story segment and spend a little time in sandbox mode, it quickly feels like you’ve already seen everything the game has to offer. There’s just not much depth or variety, and it doesn’t take long before everything starts repeating itself. Customization is another letdown. It’s extremely limited—barely any options to change things up, which makes the whole experience feel even more restricted. When you’re stuck with essentially the same setup over and over, it kills replay value almost instantly. It also doesn’t help that the game feels misleading in how it presents itself. What you expect going in doesn’t really match what you get. The “story mode” is over almost as soon as it starts, and then you’re pushed back into a very repetitive sandbox loop. It ends up feeling more like a demo than a full game. Man I can't wait for the other quick chapters that will come that made me just not want to know Amelia at all lol. At the end of the day, it’s not that Dreams of Amelia is completely broken—it’s just lacking. There’s a foundation here that could maybe turn into something better with more development, but right now it feels unfinished and thin on content. For the price, it’s hard to justify, especially when there just isn’t enough here to keep you interested for long. I wanted to like it, hell I wanted to fall in love with Amelia because she looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cute... but it just didn’t give me a reason to. Oh yeah let me also add THEY HAVEN'T EVEN UPDATED THIS GAME SINCE DECEMBER. Edit: 5/1/2026: So actually while keeping these reviews off to the side while I fully write what I think about these games I play... they updated the game finally... but its literally just localization ♥♥♥♥. That's it... Nothing new and just a bunch of bug fixes... Still doesn't give me a reason to enjoy the game...

The last thing I expected when I picked this up was to tear up at a narrative about one's relationship with their personal demons, but here we are. The sandbox half of it is what I expected. The story is short. There's not a lot of content all around - but it's in many ways miles above the vast majority of the nonsense that pollutes these genres. The writing is simple, but it can cut deep if you have (or conceal) a soft side. The voice acting is effective and eloquent. The scenes are few, but carry a pleasant style and appropriate atmosphere. It's... probably not what most who buy it are looking for, but I think it's a rather superb breath of fresh air. A quietly clever feat. I am excited to see where Cuddle Point takes this, and what they may endeavor to accomplish afterwards.
