Dreamland Solitaire

Hi -- I just finished playing Dreamland Solitaire -- 200 Levels -- bought NO extra cards to finish levels. It was great -- awesome game, good background music -- totally enjoyable.

When I bought this game, I was looking for a game like Fairway Solitaire that was paid so not inundated with ads and/or was not pay to play/win. This game is essentially that--it's the same game with a different theme. I got it on sale for just a few bucks and it is definitely worth it. Alawar's art style is not my style, but I am happy to support this developer as I have enjoyed other games by them. If you like tri-peaks solitaire, you will like this game. The only con is that this game is really easy. The "hard" version just adds in a timimg element, and I chose not to use that due to anxiety issues. So I am playing the "standard" version. The levels are not really challenging and it is easy to get 3 stars the first try. It wasn't until about level 80 that there was a challenge, and it is not consistent: there are still plenty of super easy levels. So if you're looking for something as difficult as Fairway Solitaire (and therefore requires either time or money to master each level), then you won't like this. But if you're looking for tri-peaks solitaire with an over arching theme and goal, then this will work for you.

Shockingly Good Solitaire type card game with a twist. I guess after reading some of the other reviews that this game is one of many that have the +1 -1 Solitaire Mechanic. The card suites don't make a difference the only thing that matters is the sequence of the cards IE Q-K-A-2-3 etc.. The extra addition of power-ups like Random Lightning, Jokers and Wild Cards to be purchased. I can easily say that this game absolutely hooked me, both the beautiful presentation and infinitely fun game-play loop. This is the same feeling i got playing the original solitaire on my windows 98 machine. I played a solid 20 hours to get all the achievements. There is a nice mix of skill and pure luck that kept me playing all the way through. With over 200 levels to complete you definitely get your moneys worth. After beating this version I bought the other two available.

Excellent twist on a Solitaire game. Decent art style, fun power ups. Great for zenning out.

An enjoyable game! Tons of levels with very colorful landscapes. I will say that one of the card holding traps is a spider web where a spider comes down in the beginning of some levels so if you have arachnaphobia really bad I would not play this game as there is NO WAY to turn them off. I hope someday they add the ability to turn that off or into something else. When I played these level I was always startled and had to look away till I did the action that got rid of them and if I didn't win at the end of the first playthrough, id skip to next level.

This is the most beautiful game I have ever seen. From the beginning it takes me in. I was amazed at how beautiful menu buttons or even sound/ sliders were. The music sometimes takes me away and I stop playing to enjoy the music. From the main menu you see the map to the throne, in the game you look at the same way from up high. It is magical in fact. Something about the game feels magical or divine. I had moments where I felt like I was playing this game with someone/something with a higher order of intelligence. So I had some epiphanies too. Ein schönes Game für Solitaire- Liebhaber. Man bekommt Errungenschaften, muss Räume mit erspielten Goldtalern aufbauen und hat verschiedene Boni zur Auswahl. Es hat Spass gemacht und ich würde es weiterempfehlen.
