You play as Marshmallow, the cute little pet of a girl named Ava who wants to become a heroine and save her village from the Nightmares. To protect her you use magical bullets, tarot-cards and try to find your very own playstyle to unlock the story and get the highest score!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

"Dreamkeeper" is a rather poorly made, objectively failed 2D retro bullet hell/shoot 'em up borrowing elements of the progression system of Poncle's Vampire Survivors, and despite having marginally better (read: non-pixelcrap) graphics, it's still a worse game. What do you do in the game? Control some artistically drawn fairy thing, blast enemies, get upgrades, and then quickly join the ranks of the 120M+ gamers who don't play this. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
What a ♥♥♥♥ game Starts with +25 enemies spawing in your face and the hgole game you basically just stay in the dream thingy and shoot. Boring gameplay and just stupid game design
Um jogo bom pra passar o tempo, mas me decepcionei em platinar o jogo e ele não ser contado no meu perfil ;-;
Dream Keeper is a fun short rogue-like that I would recommend to new player toward he genre
