I really want to like this game. It's fun to explore and has some good jump scares. However, i'm not sure if it's just in the Mac OS version but I'm dealing with one bug and glitch after another. The lights often fade making everything black and floors will not exist. I love how the puzzles that work are simple enough but often the glitches keep me from completing them. Again, what parts don't have bugs I really like. I'd be happy to give a complete review and will continue giving the game a chance to see if the bugs clear up.
I bought this game exclusively for vr and its not a bad liminal space vr game, I like that there's puzzles most liminal space games dont have puzzles and it has a unique style, its eiree in places and has some scares. Unfortunately though there are some major vr bugs that I believe need to be fixed for the game to be playable as theres some bugs that literally makes the game impossible to play in some areas. 1st bug: achievements are impossible to obtain in vr 2nd bug: level 4 is impossible to complete in vr, when you fall down the middle hole and the slide animation plays once you land you cant move rendering the entire chapter impossible 3rd bug: this is the biggest bug ive found, whenever i start a level in vr the entire game follows your head as you move the only way ive found to circumvent this to start the game leave steam open start the level get out of vr mode close steam in the background and re enable vr This is a really fun liminal space game and I really hope these bugs can get fixed also this isnt a bug so I didnt bring it up but there really needs to be a turning system, having to physically turn around to turn around really sucks
pretty good game
i really loved this game! great story, colorful rooms, and very ominous vibes. sound and visuals were really immersive. and they worked in some really good jump scares. been looking forward to this release and it definitely was worth the wait!
This is a great game with minimal glitching. Even with these few issues, I still highly recommend the game and have streamed it to my viewers. I have recorded a couple issues for review and posted them here in this unlisted YT link: https://youtu.be/0GzVJiOnRrg
Cool game, I liked the setting. Very nice visuals on maxed settings. Chilling at times with the lighting and shadows. There's a hotkey to enable the VHS filter, which I originally thought was the camera's zoom function. Some feedback would be to work on smoothing out the noticeable audio looping. No gamebreaking bugs that I came across during my playthrough. A recommendable liminal experience with a spooky atmosphere and a disturbing premise.
while I think it could have used some more variety in sound & narrative payoff, minor bugs exist, and that one physics puzzle with the rolling of the balls into the holes can frankly eat my whole ssa, this is the first new liminal space game I've enjoyed from this year. The atmosphere is pitch perfect for the genre while breathing some much needed originality into what a liminal space environment can be. there's a good amount of story, delivered with tasteful minimalism through environmental storytelling and some of the most convincing vocal performances in one of these games. Maybe the best part is the scope of the experience; I got the perfect amount out of Dream Corps - I wasn't banging my head against a wall looking for an exit or code-hunting/crafting/doing my taxes in order to progress, and I was able to have a fun late night movie-length interactive experience that fully grounded me in a cool ponderous virtual world to travel through.
