Not much to tis one besides auto flight thru levels till you make it to the objective. It could use a bit more gameplay variety such as more things to shoot fire at besides brush and crystals, sound effects in general, actual voice overs etc. Has a solid base just needs to build onto it. Middle thumb it. Gameplay impressions: https://youtu.be/WBKqqdKdt4k
This game is beautiful and whimsical, and my daughter really enjoyed playing it. However, it totally lacks any mechanism for saving progress. Any time we even go back to the menu screen it starts the entire game over again. This makes it impossible to play through the game. Requested a refund.
I relaxed my ass so much playing this game that I fell out of my chair from relaxation
I didn't expect too much, but... - no information about the controls, at all - X on the game controller opens the pause menu - game is seemingly saved, but it's ignored (there's a SavedGameData.txt with {"Key":"SavedLevel","Value":11} but it does nothing) - boring AI voice for the text between each level - after i finished the very last level and finishing the last objective (Reach the Dragon King) all I got was the "Just Loading" screen - because the game doesn't save (or doesn't load the information, see point 2) I cannot see the ending now (if there is any) without playing close to two hours through all of the game again - I didn't got any achievement at all during gameplay, despite basically having played through each level
I keep feeling like I've played something similar before.... maybe on the mobile version? Okay. Forget it. PLEASE! add Steam Deck support, I need THIS!
Well, sometimes you can play
I felt like I was in a fairy tale. and indeed, I could fly a *toy* flying dinosaur through unique locations and forget about everything. no storyline! no mental strain! Just flying. Nothing else. cool!
i don't usually leave negative reviews but the controls on this game are genuinely so bad, there's no tutorial, and it makes me incredibly motion sick. this game is BEAUTIFUL, and i would be happy to give it another shot if the controls were adjusted. i shouldn't be veering off course so aggressively when i try to turn, and i shouldn't be able to get stuck flying upside down. the controls are so, so, so aggressively terrible. also, does NOT lock your mouse to the application!! why is my mouse all the way on my other monitor making breakfast for itself, y'know? i click to fire and i'm opening whole entire second applications on my second monitor because my mouse wandered away from the game as i was playing. this game has a lot of potential. but my biggest gripe is the controls. i really wanted to like it.
