Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dragon Perception is a retro-inspired 2.5D platforming adventure that blends classic side-scrolling action with a light fantasy narrative centered on a young dragon's mission to defend its homeland from an army of invading robots. Rather than relying on elaborate storytelling or cinematic presentation, the game places its emphasis on responsive gameplay, carefully designed stages, and progressively tougher encounters. This straightforward approach gives it the feel of platformers from earlier gaming generations, where mastering movement and overcoming increasingly demanding obstacles were the primary sources of satisfaction. While the premise itself is uncomplicated, it provides enough motivation to keep players moving from one challenge to the next. The gameplay focuses on precision and consistency. Every level introduces hazards, enemy formations, and platforming sequences that require accurate timing and quick reactions. Players must learn how to navigate dangerous terrain while avoiding attacks and finding opportunities to eliminate hostile machines. The controls are intentionally simple, making the game accessible on the surface, but genuine success depends on understanding level layouts and enemy behavior. As the adventure progresses, each new stage gradually raises the difficulty, encouraging players to improve their skills instead of relying on unlockable abilities or complex progression systems. One of Dragon Perception's strongest features is its collection of boss encounters. These battles serve as major milestones throughout the adventure, demanding careful observation and patience rather than reckless aggression. Every boss introduces distinct attack patterns and mechanics that force players to adapt their strategy, rewarding persistence and careful execution. The satisfaction of finally overcoming a difficult encounter after several attempts becomes one of the game's defining strengths, particularly for players who appreciate classic action games that emphasize learning through repetition. The game also incorporates a score-based progression system that adds replay value beyond simply reaching the ending. Players are encouraged to improve their overall performance by earning higher scores, defeating bosses more efficiently, and comparing results with friends. This arcade-inspired design motivates repeat playthroughs as players search for faster completion times and cleaner runs. Instead of relying solely on additional content to extend longevity, Dragon Perception uses performance optimization as an incentive for experienced players to revisit completed stages. Visually, the game delivers a colorful fantasy aesthetic that combines dragons, mechanical enemies, and vibrant environments into an appealing package. The 2.5D perspective adds depth to the stages without sacrificing the clarity needed for precise platforming. Character designs are straightforward yet effective, allowing enemies, hazards, and environmental elements to remain easily recognizable even during fast-paced gameplay. Although the production values reflect the scale of an independent project, the visual presentation remains charming and serves the gameplay well by keeping the action readable at all times. The soundtrack complements the adventure with energetic background music that supports both exploration and combat. Rather than becoming the centerpiece of the experience, the music reinforces the game's pacing and helps create excitement during more intense encounters. Sound effects are similarly functional, providing clear feedback for attacks, jumps, and environmental interactions. Together, the audiovisual presentation creates a cohesive atmosphere that fits the game's retro-inspired design philosophy without attempting to overshadow the gameplay itself. Difficulty is one of the game's defining characteristics. Dragon Perception is designed for players who enjoy overcoming increasingly demanding platforming challenges through practice and determination. Later stages and boss fights require careful memorization and strong execution, making the experience rewarding for those who appreciate old-school game design. However, players looking for a relaxed or story-driven adventure may find the frequent trial-and-error approach somewhat unforgiving. The game rewards patience, persistence, and a willingness to refine one's skills rather than offering shortcuts through progression systems. While the overall experience is enjoyable, Dragon Perception does have some limitations. The narrative remains fairly minimal, and the straightforward gameplay loop may become repetitive during longer sessions. The absence of deeper character progression or broader gameplay variety means that enjoyment depends largely on how much players appreciate traditional platforming mechanics. Those seeking extensive exploration, complex storytelling, or modern gameplay innovations may find the adventure somewhat modest compared to larger releases. Overall, Dragon Perception succeeds as a faithful homage to classic action-platformers by focusing on challenging gameplay, memorable boss battles, and rewarding skill-based progression. ARGames and Metal Fox have created a focused experience that understands its audience, offering a satisfying adventure for players who enjoy mastering demanding platforming challenges. While it does not reinvent the genre or introduce groundbreaking mechanics, its polished fundamentals and replayable score system make it a worthwhile experience for fans of retro-inspired platformers. Dragon Perception delivers enjoyable old-school platforming backed by satisfying boss encounters, responsive controls, and solid replay value. Although its simple presentation and limited gameplay variety prevent it from reaching the highest tier of the genre, it remains a fun and rewarding adventure for players who appreciate skill-driven platforming experiences.
