Got it because my professor made it. Fun, entertaining little game that tests your morals. Could use some more varying content to help make it more worth the price though.
10 out of 10 because this game was made by my professor ;) The "Trolley Problem" presents a very interesting moral dilemma that has tons of potential to be expanded upon. This game capitalizes on unexpected and increasingly absurd either/or scenarios, making for an incredibly fun & wild ride. Some suggestions though: Despite this game's similarity to Papers Please (where the player chooses other people's fates), most decisions I made here did not feel difficult because 1. The player makes little emotional investment in most of the characters (The most interesting decision in this game for me was "the ones who love you vs. the ones your love", due to the meta-level emotional attachments I could assign to the characters involved.) 2. There are no lasting consequences to the player's decisions. I suggest creating one or more recurring characters with their own personalities and story arcs. Once one of them is killed off, that person would never show up again in future rounds. Forcing players to make tougher calls would make this game so much more engaging; Further, it'd be amazing if the accumulation of all your choices lead to an ultimate test result you receive (and determines the future of all human drivers). (Because this game explores the complex nature of morality, where in most situations there is not one "right" choice, perhaps there wouldn't be a standard "good ending" test result at all - Each ending could be bizarre and memorable in its own way, just to be in line with the game's comical tone)
Too short but vaguely entertaining
A fun game that gets you thinking a little . Hope there's going to be more and a rating system at the end telling players " your a good guy " or " get help as soon as possible " . Could do with a speed up button so you don't have to wait once you made your decision .
Game explores a fun concept, however it has gameplay-breaking bugs that 1) lock decisions and make it impossible to replay levels, and 2) some levels the indicator is pointing the wrong way, and you only know when the result you DIDN't want to happen happens, which is a bigger problem because of point #1. Also a level when the decision was made for me, also related to bug #1, when we got Pierre's name, since it was the exact same level, and the decision was locked to the level's previous appearance. A game about CHOICE needs to allow choice to happen, and this just can't, not by design, but by bugs. Also, if you give us text to read you also need to give us more time to react to compensate for the time spent reading. Just no. Sadly, but no. At least game was even cheaper on sale, so no great damage there.
Worth a dime and a chuckle, but for $5?
this is just not very good
Dr trolley's problem sounded like a good idea but when you enter the game you see how bad it is even though I know that coding is hard I still find this game very badly made in game play and graphics (in my opinion)
