Warning: Asset Flip!
"Down the Hill" is a simple one-button (or touch) mobile game where you have to guide an emoji down an endless hill while trying to avoid obstacles. The emoji changes direction by clicking, that's it. It's not an easy game but it's not supposed to be - it's your typical "advertisements before and after each attempt" mobile rubbish. Only that this is now on Steam and costs money, but at least there are no ads. Oh, and it's also an asset flip. Serial flipper "beans rolls" took the free asset pack Emoji Down The Hill by SgLib Games, changed the title and built it with Unity in order to sell it on Steam. As usual he didn't bother to modify anything else, nor did he add anything - it's a highscore game without any leaderboards or achievements, making the entire experience rather pointless. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this. Don't encourage asset flippers to continue their "work".
Warning: Asset Flip!
Down The Hill is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", beans rolls, took the Emoji Down The Hill Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, SgLib Games, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. beans rolls has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Starveling Way" = 2D Roguelike Tutorial developed by Unity Technologies
"Sniper Game" = Advanced Sniper Starter Kit developed by Hardworker Studio
"Air Strike" = Air Strike Starter Kit developed by Hardworker Studio
"Bouncy Cube" = Bouncy Cube 2d developed by Game HUB
"Branches" = Branches developed by SgLib Games
"Hit Confirmed" = Bullet developed by Lucas Lopes
"Connect the Dots" = Flow Free developed by bupisource.com
"Moon Defense" = Moon Defense Game Kit - FREE developed by Azureda Games
"Neon Arena" = Neon Space Fighter developed by Aleksa Racovic
"Winding Road" = Shape Change Complete Game developed by Ragendom
"Spinner Breaker" = Spin Breakout developed by SgLib Games
"Twin Balls" = Twin Balls developed by SgLib Games
"Wavy Trip" = Wavy Trip developed by SgLib
"Badlands Racer" = X-Racer developed by Deer Cat
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Emoji Down The Hill" is just a demo for how to make a Qbert style arcade game using Unity, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips are an insult to both PC gamers and to professional game developers who create genuine, high quality PC games. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from beans rolls.
Описание:
Треш раннер. Смайлик падает с горы и мы нажимая левую кнопку мышки меняем его падение влево или вправо... Игра прям совсем мусор, управление не отзывчивое и контента как такового нет... Очень очень очень плохая игра. The sound and graphics are working together to give you a game. If it's a game, I'm happy. You might think I will accuse this game of not being perfect. Story: you are Art, the clumsy detective who had too much work to do, so one day you decided to. Gameplay: it's going. Conclusion: Oh yeah.
este juego me parecio maravilloso, algo nuevo y innovador ya que antes no habia visto un juego con tan malos graficos, sin historia, es un gran juego recomiendo descargarlo, besos.
this is the best game i have ever played
Down the Hill is a fast-paced game that really tests your reflexes as you navigate through cells while avoiding holes and trees. The mechanics are simple but engaging, especially with bonuses like the mark that jumps you ahead and the cube that fills in holes. As the speed picks up, it really keeps you on your toes. If you love a good challenge, this game is definitely worth a try!
