Really good first impression! I love the art style and the game is very easy to pick up and play. Well worth the five bucks

This game is all style and absolutely no substance, the menus and animations look extremely good, the ost (one track) is solid, and the idea for the game is absolutely fantastic. However this game lacks many basic things that other platform fighters have leading to bad feeling movement, next to 0 combo potential, and a grab loop so easy that I figured it out in the 20 minutes I played. If you are interested in this game, I recommend waiting for a HEAVY discount. I would love if this game got a overhall/sequel though, this has a ♥♥♥♥ ton of potential
Cool ideas, extremely underwhelming execution.
I became #18 in ranked play (very first game) and all I did was get someone in a corner and keep pressing up while I punch.
Short: This isn't a (traditional) Platform Fighter you'd think it is. This is a casual game with basically no combos to worry and everyone run, jump and attack each other. But that's fine, to some extent. The real issue, like others fighting games, is there's no content to enjoy. Only buy if you plan to make a local party, which the chances for amateurs to have fun is high, but low for skilled players... 2.3/5 - Some depth in gameplay, more progression (like a story/career mode) and more content like characters and modes would be nice... Long: Not even a full hour and there's not much to offer, making refund an easy decision... So let's start from the beginning: It's a 6-button fighter. You can jump, a 2-combo punch (with an optional standing 8-punch aerial attack and a aerial 2-punch downward attack) with an awkward delay to act again (no, not recovery frames, you can move and all but you can't attack until then...), grab, block, dodge and a ultra. That's it. Strategy? You know how Sonic mains in Smash play him as a Hit-'N-Run? That's the game here. No combos to work, no interesting mind games, nothing. And all characters play basically the same. And that would be fine, and it kinda is, but why the 2-combo delay??? (Oh, and a 1-punch attacks also has some delay) That's dumb (sorry, but it's just dumb). Modes? There's 3 super-short Arcade Modes. That's it... Well, there's training (but it's kinda pointless because of how simple the game is) and a tutorial. Bugs/Exploits? There's some: grab, move to foe. grab again, move to foe again... There's some very cool gimmicks that fixes my issue with fighting games levels being all the same by adding ladders and tables to the mix, but there is some mechanics that if you and a foe are on top of them, you can grab your foe to stun them for 3 seconds. The problem is there's 2 of them, in a good distance, and you can loop the grab so they can never move, or another where you can aerial 2-punch from above to stun 'em for 3 seconds and loop! (But hey, at least it got infinite combo... right?) Also, I and a foe once used our ultras, and each other has fall but my character was frozen and I couldn't do something... So I restart. ...And that's it. Some nice sprites and cool character design, but that's it. Nothing else left to do. 2.3/5 - Some depth in gameplay, more progression (like a story/career mode) and more content like characters and modes would be nice...
