If you're looking for more Doom 2016 this isn't it. This is run n' gun resource management simulator. Must use this gun for this mob and shoot at this part of their body specifically. Juggle up to six cooldowns while jump dashing to this launcher and vaulting on this pole to evade the imp's fireballs and the caco vomit and that hell knight charging at you. I played on Ultra-Violence as I do with every DOOM game and had a terrible time. I just wanted to BLAST demons in the face in peace. I don't want to look bottom right for ammo count all the time. I don't want to switch to the p00ssy full-auto gun. I don't want to scope-in in a muffuggin DOOM game. I don't want to use the chainsaw on teeny-weeny-widdle imps and soldierboy demons because I ran out of ammo for my favorite guns. The chainsaw is supposed to be a flourish, a special occasion mogging tool for butchering Barons and Mancubi, not an ammo-begging tool on piss-mobs. I persevered past the first level and finished the second level with all collectibles and encounters and slayer gates completed. It only gets worse. I'm not talking unmanageable, unbeatable, skill issue or what-have-you. I'm talking UNFUN. NOT FUN. Everything becomes a chore. Doomguy don't care about weak spot. Doomguy don't care about weapon type. It shoot? It explode? It sharp? It blunt and heavy? Doomguy shoot. Doomguy blast. Doomguy slash. Doomguy smash.

К платформингу претензий почти нет, хоть он здесь явно лишний. Главные проблемы игры - постоянная нехватка боеприпасов и отсутствие свободы выбора. Разработчики лишили игрока гибкости, навязав строгий паттерн поведения. в DOOM 2016 каждый мог выработать собственный стиль, подобрать любимый арсенал и играть в свое удовольствие. В DOOM Eternal же приходится переступать через себя: игра жестко наказывает за попытки отступить от задуманного авторами сценария. Вдобавок добивания из опциональной механики превратились в обязательный элемент, который быстро утомляет своей частотой

Swapping weapons on the fly to strip enemy shields or destroy their weak points feels incredibly satisfying. It forces you to stay aggressive and never stop moving. Easily one of the most intense and rewarding shooters ever made.

So, this game is trully amazing im giving it a solid 10/10. This game gives an unbelievable and unique expirience and gives a feeling that makes you incorruptable. Its a great way to spend your evening by slaying down all that scum that game gives you. Amazing gameplay, story, epic cutscenes and fantastic optimization my pc does like 300 fps with no trouble at all. I defenetely recommend this game. DOOM Eternal is like classic doom but faster and with more violence If you at all like boomer shooters, movement shooters, or good old fasioned brutality DOOM Eternal is a must have
