Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 13 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I got this on sale for 54 cents. It was worth that.
DON'T DIE! is a tightly focused indie arcade experience that distills survival horror down to its most essential elements: movement, awareness, and constant tension. Developed and published by DEKLAZON, the game embraces a minimalist design philosophy that deliberately strips away excess systems and narrative framing, leaving players alone in a hostile, claustrophobic space where every second is about staying alive. Its title is not ironic or metaphorical; it is a direct instruction that defines the entire experience. The core gameplay loop is deceptively simple. Players are placed in small, maze-like rooms filled with zombies and environmental threats, tasked with locating keys, opening doors, and progressing forward without being overwhelmed. There are no elaborate tutorials or gradual onboarding systems—learning happens through failure. Movement is everything, and success depends on reading enemy patterns, managing space, and making rapid decisions under pressure. The game thrives on this immediacy, creating a rhythm where each mistake feels earned and each narrow escape feels exhilarating. Visually, DON’T DIE! leans hard into a retro aesthetic that recalls early arcade and 8-bit horror titles. The stark pixel art, high-contrast environments, and simple sprite animations are not just stylistic choices but functional ones, ensuring that threats are always readable and movement remains precise. This minimalist presentation reinforces the game’s tension, as there are no visual distractions to soften the impact of danger. The accompanying sound design—subtle effects and atmospheric audio cues—adds to the unease without overwhelming the player, keeping the focus squarely on moment-to-moment survival. What makes DON’T DIE! particularly effective is how it blends reflex-based gameplay with spatial strategy. While quick reactions are essential, mindless movement is punished. Players must learn to lure enemies, control crowd flow, and anticipate choke points within each room. As levels progress, enemy placement becomes more demanding, and safe paths narrow, forcing players to adapt rather than rely on memorized routes alone. This balance between twitch skill and tactical positioning gives the game a surprising amount of depth despite its limited mechanics. That said, the game’s narrow focus is both its strength and its limitation. DON’T DIE! offers little in the way of long-term progression, narrative context, or mechanical evolution. There are no character upgrades, branching paths, or story revelations to uncover. For some players, this purity is refreshing, allowing the gameplay itself to carry the experience. For others, the lack of variety can make extended sessions feel repetitive once the core patterns are mastered. The game is best enjoyed in short, intense bursts rather than marathon play sessions. Replay value is driven almost entirely by mastery rather than novelty. Players who enjoy shaving seconds off their runs, improving movement efficiency, and pushing themselves to survive longer will find satisfaction in refining their skills. However, those who rely on external motivation—such as unlockables, achievements tied to progression, or evolving content—may feel the experience runs out of surprises relatively quickly. Community feedback often reflects this divide, praising the game’s addictive short-term appeal while expressing a desire for more content or variation. Technically, DON’T DIE! is lightweight and stable, running smoothly on a wide range of systems thanks to its modest requirements. This accessibility fits well with its arcade roots, making it easy to pick up and play without concern for performance issues. The game feels intentionally compact, as though designed to be launched, played intensely, and exited just as quickly, mirroring the structure of classic arcade cabinets rather than modern sprawling indie titles. Ultimately, DON’T DIE! is a game that knows exactly what it wants to be and commits fully to that vision. It does not attempt to expand beyond its core idea or appeal to every type of player. Instead, it offers a focused survival challenge built on precision, tension, and repetition. For fans of retro arcade action, minimalist horror, and skill-driven gameplay, it delivers a sharp and engaging experience. For players seeking narrative depth, progression systems, or long-term variety, it may feel too lean. As a pure test of awareness and survival instinct, however, DON’T DIE! succeeds by doing exactly what its name promises—and nothing more. Rating: 6/10

peak.
Finished it and was able to refund as well. Controls are pretty bad and the zombies as well as the turrets aren't consistent enough for it to be skillful.
This game is cool, good to pass the time!
