What a beautiful game that brings me immense calm to play. Nothing hits home to me like this game does. Beautifully simple design. Awesomely built around an incredible concept. Clear objectives, repetition designed in a way that is comforting yet still challenging and engaging. I don't know if this is a game for you, but it's certainly been a wonderful game for me and I hope everyone else can find joy in it like I have. Please at least try out the demo if you're considering this game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This early-access trend has overstayed its welcome.. this game was labeled as early access and what that means is you pay full price now and you'll eventually receive the full game but now they're releasing updates as dlc....
It's a game about work. Domekeeper is game in a class of games where the mundane drudgery of the tasks the game asks of you is indeed the whole reason you play them. In Domekeeper's "Relic Hunter" the primary game play mode, you alternate between developing and expanding the mine beneath your dome to find and retrieve a rare alien relic buried there, and coming to the surface to defend your dome from waves of attacks in a pseudo tower defense like combat that is reminscent of Atari classic Missile Command (1980). These two modes of play often frustrate each other in a delicate tension that creates the most truly engaging moments the game has. The game is at it's best when you are making difficult decsions between investing mined resources into things that will allow you to more efficiently excavate the mine and things that will keep you alive long enough to finish the excavation. Like any good game about resource management you must carefully weigh your short term and long term benefits. The game falters however whenever you get too far ahead of the curve and can more trivially extract resources and keep ahead of the needs for upgrades. Their is often a long late game where any steadily increasing difficulty in waves of enemies is easily met by your current weapons upgrades and victory is inevitable but not immenent. Relic Hunter lacks any late game curveballs that can disrupt you once you're on path to victory. Even the final wave of enemies that attack you once you succesfully extract the relic is perfunctory, as you literally cannot lose at that point. Fail to defend the dome and the relic will wipe all the remaining enemies and show you the victory screen. The lack of tension in the later parts of runs is often what makes the game start to feel truly menial The alternate challenge modes however are where the game manages to stay interesting once you've found out the basic rhythms and can see through it's tricks. Prestige is a score attack that once again mirrors this games arcade ancestors. Players compete to get the highest score by surviving waves of attacks and sending home the most cobalt. Cobalt being one of the rarest of the 3 primary resources, used for a few upgrades but mostly as the only thing that can repair your dome should you let it be damaged, it's a lifeline for that reason. The game becomes a pure test of skill as you ultimately plan to become more effeciant in your mining than any of your peers. "Guild Assignments" offer alternate difficult twists to the classic Relic Hunter Gameplay loop, changing the density of resources, variety of enemies that can attack you and even in some laying out different victory conditions. A personal favourite of mine is "Iron Contribution". In this format there are no enemies atacking your dome, and you don't need to find a buried relic. Instead you must in a relatively tight timeframe set aside a large portion of iron to send away. Meeting the quota is difficult as the tension that brings interest here is iron (One of the 3 primary resources you mine for) is the resource needed to upgrade your capacity to mine more efficiently. You are forced to find the delicate balance between spending all of your iron to extract more iron, and actually having enough left over to send away before the end of your shift. Given more time you would quite easily max out your capacity to produce iron, and then quickly amass it. The tight timeframe however forces you to find out how much is "good enough" to get all the resources you need out in time and actually finish. The sort of practical compromises are where it feels like the more interesting drudgery of doing a real job. If you gave me 4 men, the gadget supplements I wanted, and a starting stipend of iron to max the neccesary skill trees for drilling, carrying and moving I could get you this easy. Alas we are short staffed. You can have 2 stock gadgets and whatever you need for upgrades is gonna have to come out of your own pocket. Oh and did I say I need it in 30? Suddenly you find yourself a slightly overworked mid level employee. The drones you picked as your primary gadget are helping fill the labour gap by carrying the iron ore back to the surface as you mine, so you don't have to waste trips carrying it back and forth yourself. However you quickly find you can mine quicker than they can pick it up and a backlog starts to build up. You can pay to increase the number of drones and most of that cost is in water and not iron so is that a better option over upgrades to make the drones move faster? Meanwhile any large items you find that can help you mine faster still have to hauled up yourself as the drones cant left them. So as you lug a large unidentified gadget or supplement to the surface to install in your dome and hope it's something thats useful you have to hope you have a large enough backlog of iron that needs to be carried that the drones stay occupied the entire time you're away from mining because they can't drill themselves and you don't want them standing around wasting time. And the clock keeps ticking down, you see you're at the halfway mark, decide it's not worth it to even pick up any more gadgets because the base amount of iron you have to invest to get them worthwhile you won't earn back in the time you have left. And you realize now there's a backlog again and you should probably drop what you're doing, put down the drill and just start hauling whatever you have available to the surface because you're gonna run out of time. You start making your way up with as much iron as you can reasonably carry in one trip, every bit slowing you down slightly and realize you're deeper than you thought. You slowly ascend weighing if it's worth it to bring one less ingot to the surface if it lets you get there a bit faster and you might be able to squeeze in 2 trips before your run out of town. It starts to dawn on you as you plod along that you haven't seen any drones in a long damn while and it's starting to feel like you're the only one who works here. And suddenly they pass you carrying ingots one at a time in a slow line to the surface having ignored the bundled ingots you set aside in groups of 4 and 5 for them to carry in favor of lone ingots that were closer to the main drill shaft and made more sense to their programmed pathfinding. All of the sudden this game is everything you hated about the last time your job had "supervisor" in the title and yet you're having a sort of fun. The time runs out, you're 30 iron shy of your quota and when you reach for the coffee it's cold. You hit restart on the level, start over the album in your headphones and wonder if the drones are worth the trouble or if you should just carry the damn ingots yourself next time.
