blue prince 🙏
no matter what I do the game will not launch
就算操作变阴间了也甩现在很多游戏八百条街
It's ICO in 2d where you escort a lovely princess through 150 levels with (hard) puzzles and boss combat. There's a little mechanic where you use your mouse to draw a rope, this imitates touch screen of the PS Vita where it was originally released. I must warn you that it only run in windowed mode, no resolution options. 64
siempre me a gustado este juego y todo al respecto, su estilo y diseño, su historia, personajes etc.
Dokuro, developed by GAME ARTS Co., Ltd. and published by GungHo Online Entertainment America, Inc., is a puzzle-platformer that quietly distinguishes itself through a blend of inventive design and understated storytelling. Rather than casting the player as a traditional hero, the game places you in control of a humble skeleton servant who turns against his dark master to help a kidnapped princess escape a dangerous castle. This role reversal shapes the entire experience, creating a dynamic where success is not about direct heroics, but about support, timing, and careful manipulation of the environment. It’s a concept that feels deceptively simple at first, yet gradually reveals surprising depth as the game unfolds. The presentation immediately sets Dokuro apart. Its chalkboard-inspired art style gives the impression that every scene has been hand-drawn with care, evoking the look of a living storybook. Characters are animated with subtle expressiveness, and even without dialogue, their personalities come through clearly. The contrast between the dark, trap-filled castle and the soft, almost whimsical visual tone creates a unique atmosphere that feels both playful and melancholic. This aesthetic approach not only enhances immersion but also reinforces the fairy-tale quality of the narrative, making each stage feel like a page in a larger illustrated story. At its core, the gameplay revolves around escorting the princess through a series of hazards, but Dokuro transforms this often frustrating mechanic into something thoughtful and engaging. The princess moves forward on her own, unaware of danger, and it becomes the player’s responsibility to ensure her safety by clearing obstacles, activating mechanisms, and neutralizing threats ahead of time. This creates a rhythm where anticipation and planning are more important than reflex alone. As the game progresses, new mechanics are introduced, including the ability to switch between Dokuro’s skeleton form and a temporary heroic form that allows for direct combat. The addition of chalk-based interactions, where players can draw objects or paths into existence, further expands the puzzle-solving possibilities and keeps the gameplay evolving. The puzzle design is where Dokuro truly excels. Each stage builds upon previously introduced mechanics, layering them in increasingly complex ways that challenge both logic and execution. Solutions often require players to think several steps ahead, carefully coordinating movements and environmental changes to guide the princess safely. There is a satisfying sense of progression as familiar elements are recombined into new scenarios, creating moments of realization that feel earned rather than handed out. The game rarely relies on repetition alone, instead choosing to continuously reinterpret its ideas to maintain engagement. However, this growing complexity is accompanied by a difficulty curve that can feel inconsistent. While early levels are approachable and gently instructive, later sections introduce sharp spikes that demand precise timing and near-perfect execution. Mistakes can be punishing, especially when they require replaying extended sequences to try again. Although the game includes a system that allows players to skip particularly challenging stages after repeated failures, it can feel like an acknowledgment of imbalance rather than a fully satisfying solution. Controls are generally reliable, but in moments that demand exact precision, even minor inconsistencies can become noticeable and occasionally frustrating. Narratively, Dokuro takes a minimalist approach, relying on visual storytelling and brief interactions rather than extensive dialogue. The relationship between the skeleton and the princess develops quietly, conveyed through small gestures and actions rather than explicit exposition. There is a gentle emotional undercurrent to the journey, touching on themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and unspoken affection. While the story itself remains simple, its presentation allows it to resonate in a subtle way, leaving room for interpretation and personal connection. The audio design complements the overall tone without drawing too much attention to itself. The soundtrack features light, whimsical compositions that reinforce the fairy-tale atmosphere, though they can become repetitive over time. Sound effects are more impactful, providing clear feedback for interactions and helping to ground the player in the mechanics of each puzzle. Together, they form a cohesive auditory backdrop that supports the experience without overshadowing it. In terms of content, Dokuro offers a substantial number of levels, each introducing new variations on its core mechanics. The game maintains a steady pace of ideas, ensuring that players are consistently presented with fresh challenges. Occasional boss encounters break up the flow, adding variety by blending puzzle-solving with light action elements. These moments provide a welcome change of pace, even if they are not as mechanically deep as the main stages. Overall, Dokuro is a game that thrives on creativity and charm, delivering a puzzle-platforming experience that feels both familiar and refreshingly different. Its artistic direction and inventive mechanics make it stand out, while its uneven difficulty and occasional frustration prevent it from achieving complete consistency. For players who enjoy thoughtful puzzles and are willing to embrace a challenge, it offers a rewarding and memorable journey. Rating: 8/10
