spoiler warning before I begin... if I'm being honest I was really sceptical of even downloading this game, my mate has been telling me to play this game for maybe a year or so and I've always pushed it away because its anime and just women, makes me seem like a saddo (no offence to people who do play anime games) but i thought "lets just give it a try" i started the game off already feeling kind of off put by the way the characters are drawn, but after a while i just got use to it, i then slow began noticing the slight slip ups within some characters dialog, which made me feel a little bit uneasy, but once again, pushed it past believing the game would just keep going like normal, which it did, for a time, then i got to the part where Sayori confesses her love for the protagonist, i politely put down her confession in the nicest way the game allows. the next day monika is the first one to the club, she mentions stuff that her character SHOULD NOT KNOW, thats when truely knew this game was different, mentioned something about leaving sayori hanging around all morning, the game makes you run to sayoris house... now there is one line that will forever remind me of this game "I gently open the door..." i wont continue ranting about the rest, but this game is something else, how deep the lore goes is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane to me, all of the files, the secret messages within said files, the distorted photo, the "secret" poems that you get given throughout the game, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ man this game is super twisted, but in a good way 100/10 would recomend and would definitely play again to see if there are alternate ending for different characters

a phenomenal game that plays with you psychologically and itself ([spoiler]game is messing with its' own files and even has messages hidden in some of them![/spoiler]). most "psychological" "horrors" rush the scary part, this game does it properly and makes you comfortable before doing a complete 180 degrees on you. it's surprising that this game is free, and i'm more than happy to buy the Plus version in the future! (my friend made me play this game and we decided to read text out loud, that was a great way to make me better at english pronunciation)
