About
DJ Life Simulator is the first simulation game that doesn't just let you play as a DJ, it teaches you how to become one in real life using the same techniques employed by professional DJs.
Built on a solid technical and educational foundation, the game recreates the real fundamentals of professional DJing.
You can play using a mouse and keyboard or connect a compatible USB/MIDI DJ controller for an authentic mixing experience, just like using real equipment. Check the "Compatibility" section below to see the list of supported controllers.
The game only supports importing music in MP3 and WAV formats. Other audio formats (such as FLAC, M4A, AAC, AIFF, and others) are not supported yet.
Every mechanic was designed to be applicable outside the game. Here, you don't just play, you learn, practice, and grow as a real DJ.
DJ Life Simulator supports a wide range of MIDI-compatible DJ controllers.
Pioneer DJ (AlphaTheta) controllers work plug-and-play, with no configuration required. Controllers from Serato, Hercules, Numark, and supported Traktor models are also compatible and only require a one-time MIDI mapping or setup.
Check the compatibility table below to see the current list of tested devices.
If your controller isn't listed, download the free demo and give it a try. If you need any assistance, our community on Discord is always happy to help.
Please note: Controller support is still under active development during Early Access. Core mixing features are fully supported, but some hardware-specific functions—such as headphone cue (pre-listening), Performance Pads, and Beat FX—are not yet available. These features are planned for future updates.

The crowd's reaction directly reflects your technical and musical decisions through their dancing and the aura indicators.

bom suporte a controladoras como DDJ 400 e FLX4 o que deixa a jogabilidade bem fluida.
TLDR: Get this if you are at all interested. Strong recommend for the DJ curious, you could just play with keyboard and mouse to see if this hobby is a fit for you before buying a controller. Existing DJs may not get a lot out of it right now but for the cost it is worth a flyer and a larger user base will justify more sophisticated tutorials. I am really excited about this one as I don't get a lot of opportunities to play out these days and this will keep Tutorials: Speaking as someone with some DJ experience, I would give this buy for anyone looking to learn how to DJ or are looking to experience DJing before buying a controller. I've run through a couple of tutorials, they work well, start at the very beginning of skill progression, and the included classes do seem to cover the basics and some intermediate-level content. Sure, you can learn all this from youtube or an online course but having the lessons and the scoring together in one neat app will save you time and the realtime feedback is invaluable. Music: It was shockingly good. I was expecting like Beat Saber quality dancepop slop but the minimal and tech house tracks were actually something I would spin or dance to in a club or festival. You can also import your own music, I assume this will work as well as everything else but I have not used it yet. Music analysis can be problematic even in professional DJ software - requiring manual adjustments - so I'm very curious how this functionality will work. I would really like to see included are breakbeats in the track list, everything right now is house/trance and that's a pretty easy style of music to spin. Breaks are where I need the practice. Controls: I have an older Pioneer controller and so far it has worked right out of the box even though the software recommends midi mapping. Perhaps with more sophisticated tutorials I will need to remap it but so far so good. That said, the mid mapping tutorial on youtube was quite good and the process is pretty simple. Keyboard and mouse is available for those who don't have a controller yet. Career Mode: Have not done this but the loop is play music, watch the crowd for buy-in, adjust the music to their taste (clothing seems to indicate what kind of music they like), and do this successfully enough you succeed. You can customize your DJ with cosmetics and presumably move up from house parties into clubs and larger venues. It's a great way to gamify practice, which is typically done alone in your room and is thus quite difficult for many of us to motivate toward. Graphics: This is basically DJ software attached to a floating camera of your avatar and the dancefloor. Graphics were rather washed out and plain but I'm in the tutorial practice in your room mode. Still, I doubt this will ever be a graphical marvel as the compute should be going toward the music and analyzing your play. Technical issues: No technical problems at all. Ran smooth. I will update more as I spend more time with it, life is a bit busy at the moment. But right now this does exactly what it says it does and will get you from knowing nothing to spinning a house party. Pretty great value.

I really like electronic music, but never quite understood what DJs actually do, so I saw a friend of mine playing it at their house and decided to give it a try. The game is really cool so I purchased to learn how to play and it's been fun so far. The lessons are really well explained and interactive, and the minigames are also fun haha
FR
EN
Ever since I started using Dj Life Simulator, top DJs have been eyeing me with concern. I’m not saying I’m better... but they’ve stopped replying to my messages. My EQs are so clean that even sound engineers are taking notes. As for the top DJs, they’re quietly changing the lineup. 🎧
DJ Life Simulator is a really innovative and enjoyable game. I especially like how it makes the DJ experience accessible and easy to understand, even for complete beginners. I had never used real DJ equipment before, but the game helped me understand the basic controls, mixing techniques, and how everything works in a very practical and intuitive way. The progression system and realistic features make the experience both fun and educational. It is a great game for anyone interested in DJing, whether they already have experience or are discovering it for the first time. The developers did an excellent job creating something original, immersive, and beginner-friendly.
